hi everyone; my first post with this thread and my first Fantastic Natasket tri.  I also rec'd the email and was confused because it thanked me for my donation and support so i'm wondering if my entrance fee went to the jeni fund or the Fast Forward Race Management folks.  at this point it doesn't matter as long as a charitable org is benefiting from it.  Anyways, i see some opportunity to do a trial run or practice sprints this week and am available most mornings.  I have included a link for the tides so you can have a better idea of what time works best for low tide.

Thanx for the tide table.   Looks like race day will be fine.  Will you be joining us on Tues?  I am also tentatively planning for Sunday the the 13th AM

I'm thinking meeting at the bathhouse - place to change, etc...at 12:30PM tomorrow.   i don't know if they will still be charging the $7 fee or not.   Swim & Bike!!!  See everyone tomorrow!

I will be there also!  I am bringing my mountain bike, but hopefully I can keep up! Also, I have never been to Nantasket before; are there specific directions to where we are meeting, or is there just one road to 'keep a look out' for a group?

yeah pretty much one road and it seems like your on it forever your about 20min away when you go over the crazy bridge (you'll know the bridge when you see it then go staight forever and when you get into the town you'll see beach parking lots to your right, we'll be in there I drive a tan gmc truck (newer model) and my tri- bike will be in the back you wont miss it, if you get lost just give a call. 

I can do Sunday morning the 13th, let me know time and meet place. I probably wont be able to keep up with everyone, but I'll give it a go.

Had alot of fun today and it was good to meet a bunch of people from here anytime you wanna get training in let me know

Fun meeting you all! I would love to get another training in before race day...my schedule is crazy though with work and school and other commitments but I will try.

I am looking forward to the race...don't think I will be setting any pr's for myself as training has cut back but the purpose for me was to get in an ocean swim tri. The bike route is beautiful.

Was it windy midday?  The mornings it can get hollerin'!

I agree; great meeting you all and doing part of the route together.  I plan to do it again as much as possible until race day but can't really make a firm commitment due to a very crazy schedule.  Although right now Thursday a.m. is looking real good, probably around 10; same place.

Yes it was very nice meeting you all! -- actually getting to do some group training was fabulous . and I was only 5 minutes late for class! 

The earliest I can make it back out there is Sunday; hopefully we will figure out a time soon.

Yesterday was great meeting you guys.  I've been training solo these past few months and it was nice to get "pushed' from the group.   I too will be trying to get back as much as possible before race day.   I am looking at the Sun the 13th, maybe Tues the 15th and either Sat the 19th or Sun the 20th.   Do you think there will be a ride thru on the Saturday before the race?
