meherczeg - 2009-11-05 4:29 AM Any peachers travel a lot for work?  In the past, I've failed at Peach challenges either because of sickness/injury or travel.  I just don't know how to work it in sometimes...

You can also do a simple ST session anywhere with a floor (and maybe a towel to toss down) ...  20-30 minutes of pushups, crunches, back work like extensions, bridges, and leg work like lunges and calf raises.  All you need is body weight for a good on the go workout.  Do 10 to 20 reps then move to the next exercise.  When you have hit all four major muscle areas, repeat until you have filled your workout time.  You can throw in variations like 1st set of crunches regular, 2nd set of ab work is leg raises, 3rd set is oblique crunches, etc.

Good luck,  you CAN do it!

Speed for each minute:  5,5,6,7,8,9,6,7,8,9,6,7,8,9,6,7,8,9,1020,5

Just adjust the speed to what you are comfortable with but make sure you leave it all on the treadmill.  You'll feel great and get your peach.

thanks for the suggestions, guys.  usually if my schedule allows i'm good about getting a run in while i travel, but next week i'm doing two days in a row nonstop 6 am - 11 pm.  i just don't know how to work around that!!  just enough time in a hotel to sleep and shower.

Try 10 or 15 minutes of stretching before bed and upon awakening!  Are you driving, flying or sitting in a conference?

Good peachy morning to everyone!!!  Peachy day #6 done.  This is a lot of fun.  Off season training can get boring but this is keeping it interesting.

Six days of peach in November and I think that I have hit my first rite of passage on Wednesday night...  I was on the stationary bike for 45 minutes doing 1x2 mile intervals and then 20 minutes on the elliptical; getting ready to shower, I noticed a stain on the inside of my shirt.  Looking down I saw that I had bloody nipplage - must be time to either buy some lighter weight shirts, or shave my chest and applying band-aids to prevent the chaffing.

There you go, if you need a reason to laugh over the weekend, just think about that Laughing

When I hear something like this all I can think of is the Office episode where they all did a 5K run and  Andy did just that....put bandaids on his chest

I'm sorry if this is an inappropriate question but I had to ask.

Does sex count for a peach?  Is there a HR requirement?  I've never worn my HR monitor but that might be interesting to find out.

As far as I know, the other activity is still referred to as pizza or unloggable by most people.  "Snuggly spouse" works too.  When I log household chores it's about 8 loads of laundry, vacuuming and scrubbing floors, bathrooms and the kitchen.....
