Veteran 103 Destin, Florida | Subject: RE: The MOST AWESOMEST Francaise Des Jeux Team Page--BABY!!! I apologize to the team for being behind on my rides. Long story short, I put air in my tires last night on the way to the park and while driving down the road, my front bike tire blew. It was too late to go to the bike shop, so didn't get my long ride in yesterday, so I'll have to work 2 extra rides in. I didn't get to ride today because of rain and getting the tire fixed. The tire is fixed, so I will try to ride tomorrow. I will complete my rides. |

Member 8 Johnston, IA | Subject: RE: The MOST AWESOMEST Francaise Des Jeux Team Page--BABY!!! I apologize for being AWOL the last week or so. Why is it that when you go on vacation for three or four days it always seems like you are about two weeks behind when you get back? Anyway I finally got a decent ride in tonight. I plan on riding again tomorrow night and getting two good rides in over the weekend. I am going to have to really push it this next week to meet my goal but if the weather cooperates I think I can do it. |

Frugal Gear Geek 2199 having fun with the kids | Subject: RE: The MOST AWESOMEST Francaise Des Jeux Team Page--BABY!!! ok boys and girls, I have come up for air. My numbers are updated now. 7 of 12 stages in the books, but more importantly, 410 minutes of 600 done. I have a serious week of stages coming up. Things here are on the edge of blowing up in the family, but I will do my best to hang on until Paris. The good news at home is it looks like a new car is coming home on Monday. Had to make sure it was bike compatible Will try to get my team communications gear working so we can all get to Paris together |

Frugal Gear Geek 2199 having fun with the kids | Subject: RE: The MOST AWESOMEST Francaise Des Jeux Team Page--BABY!!! It is midnight, but since I am still awake, I have taken the liberty to help captain, our captain out with updating our team spreadsheet. Assuming I have all of our numbers right (remember it is midnight, so double check my math), our team is just under 1/2 to Paris with 6 days of racing to get to Paris. I know I have 5 stages and just over 3 more hours to log. I think the stages will be my issue, but I still plan on putting in the time this week. Lets move from the middle of the pelaton up to the front and put on a good show |

Expert 1023 Ft Gordon, GA | Subject: RE: The MOST AWESOMEST Francaise Des Jeux Team Page--BABY!!! Had an awesome workout today: First BRick in a long time. Rode Stage 7 of the challenge: 95 min at 18.7 for 29.61 miles and then had a 4 min transition to running and ran 4.02 miles in 33 min in 111 degree heat. Man it killed me but it was AWESOME!!! One week to go and 3 stages and just under 82 miles for me! How's everyone else doing? I think I even managed to update our spreadsheet myself. Not sure though! I am sorry to let you guys down. I'm not really certain what my bike looks like this year. Hey Man! don't feel bad, life happens sometimes and we cannot control all variables. Heck, it not often that I feel like I can control ANY variable! Is there a rule where the rest of the team can pull a little extra duty and make up your time/stages? I just rode Stage 8, 95 minutes on the trainer at 18.4 mph ave for 29.3 miles today. I have two more stages and 52.67 miles to go to complete my goal! I might be able to do one extra stage and some min/miles if we are allowed to. |

no worries mate. i know you are normally good for your miles so don't worry! will look into maybe some of us subbing you or what can be done.
do hope your job is going well though
as for me i've just done a VERY sweaty 8 mile trainer ride to discover (yet again) that i am less than 0.1 of a mile off 15 miles for the day - ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Veteran 103 Destin, Florida | Subject: RE: The MOST AWESOMEST Francaise Des Jeux Team Page--BABY!!! I don't want to seem like a copycat, but I've been contemplating this for 3 or 4 days now. I'm going to also have to drop. This week of my Microsoft trianing is requiring a lot more time of studying. I don't have the time to drive 15 minutes each way to a flat trail to ride. My hotel is in a deep valley, and I don't have the engine for big hills yet. I have 4 tests in the next 5 days, so that is where my focus has to be. My apologies. |

Now have 1 Stage left and 23.23 miles to finish my goal. Thank LORD for this challenge as I would NEVER have ridden this much these last three weeks without it! Still have 5 days left before we are out of time. How are the players still in the game doing? Be STRONG through the finish!!! |
