Subject: RE: Crappy Winter Weather Challenge 2010-2011I have a question about the points too. Let's say it's 33 degrees and clear and I am running 30 mins. Since it's .5 pts for 30-35 deg, than technically speaking I would get 30 x .5 = 15 points? And 0 points if it's warmer than 35 (and no wind or precip)? So, if it's not warmer than 35 than no points at all for running? Yet, if I am biking and it's say 38 degrees I get a single point: (1 bike factor + 0 temp factor + 0 precip + 0 wind) x 40 min ride = 40 Or, is there an assumed 1 point to start with? Or, ...? I guess I can see the logic there, but I went into this thinking there'd be points for all outside activity. But I guess maybe not. And that's okay, but it just occurred to me today and I wanted to make sure I understood. |
