4.- I am one of those "matching" people. Yeah, my bras and panties MUST match! LOL. I like symetrical things and a asymetrical or unmatched tatoo would drive me insane!

Since no one else seems to have the nerve to say it, I will.  I find the idea of matching bras and panties, extremely sexy.  As a matter of fact I find it as sexy as I find the delicate sensual tattoos may woman get.

Oh yeah...you mean the WTC events...for which M-Dot is a registered trademark. But yeah...If I do GFT, I'll get one. M-Dot is synonymous with 2.4/112/26.2. I guess maybe WTC could take me to court for it, though...

One issue I have is, I got my Mdot after my IM. I was going to add another Mdot for every IM I finished but that seems silly now. Next year I want to try a double IM and get a tat for that, but the Double Iron logo is lame. I don't want to get 2 mdots because that would seem like I ran 2 IMs instead of a double. I have to find an image that would represent the double, without using the mdot logo. I guess I have time

you just need a "God" tattoo for your double. Or maybe a picture of Jack Nicholson in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest....

run4yrlif - 2005-10-06 8:28 AM I have:
  • My dog, Stimpy's paw print on my left calf. Got it when she was getting older so I'd always have something to remind me of her. She died last year, and I'm so glad I got it
That's a great idea. I have 2 big cats (18 - 19 lb tabbies). That would be something to seriously consider. Non cat people probably won't get it, but cat people will.

This is as far as I've read on this thread so far--I did the exact same thing with my cat Schuman's paw in 1991.  Had him step in cooking oil and then step on tracer paper. Shrank it down a little with a copier and had it put on my right ankle. He wasnt nearly as appreciative of the gesture as he should have been, but then, when are they?  I love it still.

He died last year, so I"m glad I have it

People always ask if I went to Clemson, though.

Oh, and I have my nose pierced, but almost never wear anything any more. Did it in Nepal, so the village of mid-caste people I lived with wouldn't think I had pretensions of being a higher, non-wearing caste. And I liked how it looked...

two.  One a magnolia in honor of my home state.

the other a rose with two buds and a thorn.  Rose is me, two buds are my two babies, and the thorn is my DH.   Yes, he knows that and takes it in stride.

had navel pierced, got infected and got removed.  Went through several tubes of neosporin.

Had six earrings in left ear at one time.  Now down to three.

I want a diamond in my nostril- I jsut think they're incredibly sexy and it will cover up a scar where I got some skin cancer removed.

i have a tat on my left thigh. high enough it doesnt show in normal shorts, but easy enough to access if someone were to ask to see it. It is a cartoon character holding a nine ball. I have been playing pool a long time. I am not crazy about it anymore, i wish it was something more meaningful or deep, but it was just something i liked. if...excuse me...when i complete an IM i will be getting another one.

ChipmunkHeart - 2005-10-06 8:42 AMI had an eyebrow piercin back in my "youth", but I took it out for mother's day. Now I've just got a belly button ring and ear piercings... I'd get a tat, but I can't think of any part of my body that won't eventually sag, so I'm wary....

Ankles don't sag...lower backs don't sag...shoulders don't sag...tops of feet and insides of wrists don't sag...

What old people have you been hanging around with?  Of course they do. I did get a temporary tattoo this summer and had a hoot with it!

Ok, here's my wierd idea: I'd like to get a kind of curvy line thing winding all down my body, but different on both sides, sortof highlighting errogenous zones or cool little landmarks like moles and scars. It would be very flow-y and delicate.

I've never seen anything like this? Is it just stupid? Or does it sound cool?

I think that sounds extremely cool, Hot and especially sensual.  The idea of a "road map" to the erogenous zones is such a turn on.

I don't currently have any Tats or pericings, but do find some tats to be real turn ons.  I, like many have said, have been thinking about the Mdot once I have earned it, but that will be a few years.

As Renee said you gotta find an image that resonates with you - problem is, I'm just too dang fickle to settle on any one thing! That's how I got my idea.

Oh ya, and...panties!

Ears: 7 total. I never wear all of them at the same time; I look like a gypsy. In fact I don't have any in right now. Both ears are double pierced on the lobes. The left also has two in the upper cartilage; the right one has a small hoop halfway up. That is my favorite piercing but also the most painful; you barely have any skin there! All except the earlobes were done myself with a needle and ice cube.

One belly button barbell, NO ring. Did it myself, got infected, then had it professionally done.

One nostril stud. Just a little diamond. Been told it's really sexy. I really like it but won't wear it to work.

Ready for another piercing, but can't decide because not too many things left that won't be weird. I like tattoos, but just can't get one...too much committment for me I would get a Mdot after my first and four orchids/hyacinths across my sacrum. Also love the idea of a white tattoo.

I have 2 tattoos: celtic band around my ankle and a stylized rose in the very center upper back.

I currently have 2 piercings, 1 in each ear.  I had another one in 1 ear and 1 somewhere that would get irritated on the bike-portion of a tri, but the first closed up years ago because I kept forgetting to put an earing in it and the second...*sigh* had to be removed for a surgery and couldn't get it back in.  I may get it redone during the off season when I know it has some time to heal....

I love the idea of artwork on your body. I just have no idea what I'd want. I've done so many things I was enthusiastic about at one time or another, but nothing i'm just dying to make permanent except maybe an M Dot...But that's not very artistic.

I love that show Miami Ink. Even if you took away the tattoo aspect, those guys are amazing artists.

Plain, boring, nothing...

I already have enough holes in my head (sometimes 1 too many).

Too pragmatic/cheap/(add adjectives) to ink part of my body hoping that it stays put until I'm 90.

Also would keep me from donating blood for a year.

No tattoos. I think they are incredibly sexy on some bodies, such as Robbie Williams and Beckham. It's just that I don't want to commit to one. Got a couple of piercings. 4 on ear lobes, 2 closed unfortunately. One on left tragus which I adore.

No tatoos.  The only tatoo I would every consider is an M Dot tatoo after my first IM.  I have my ears pierces- 2 holes in each ear, but only wear earrings in the first holes.  I got my belly button pierced in college and still have my belly ring in it.  That's about as crazy as I get!
