I am big on multitasking on the potty ... and I text Tony and play Majong and all that jazz.  However .. it is not good to spend too much time sitting on the potty.  It can encourage hemorrhoids.  My doctor says go in, do your business, leave.  He told me no magazines or electronics.  Don't even read the back of the shampoo bottles (you know you have).  Just do your business and go.

I of course do not follow his advice as I do not suffer from any issues (other than the numb legs from time to time) but thought I'd pass it on as a PSA!

Sometimes CoJ is a PSA, sometimes it's TMI.

Chemo was a *female canine* and played hell with the functions of the lower alimentary canal, amongst other precious important body organs, not the least bit the memory.      Not pleasant.  But I have discovered that the Dollar Store B12 vitamin shooter is the perfect solution.   Mostly for the GI issues and somewhat for the memory lapses.

I'll never take a normal bowel movement for granted again.

I know, TMI.        So much for the dispassionate view of the Scientist.....  Cool

Well, my dog and kids think it's pretty swell to come on in.  There is no such thing as privacy when you're a mom.

When my son was 2 I started closing/locking the bathroom door. My fav thing was watching his little fingers poke their way through the crack between the door and the floor.

sometimes in my house, it is the only room I can go in and have some peace and quiet for 10-15 minutes!

Not my house, I have always told my wife I have no fear of ever losing my kids in a department store or anywhere for that matter, they have a 6th sense for when I am on the pot. If I ever "lose" the kiddos, I will just find the nearest toilet, sit down and get comfy, and within seconds, they will be knocking on the door or just walk in.

My eyes saw "When my son was 21 started closing/locking...."  I was all like wait, what?  Then I was all like Ohhh.. When my son was 2....

Today on the Potty i played coin dozer on my Kindle Fire..

Mine is little kitty paws under the door if it ever happens to be closed ... i think it's quite cute but i just leave the door open most of the time.

Funny thread.  Lots of TMI honesty.

I keep a good book of poetry on the back of the toilet for the rare occasions I linger.  Or for guests.  I swap out the book every couple of months.
