Great job on the race, and one of the most descriptive race reports I have ever read

Z-dog I watched the Tour the other night when the Peleton passed the break-away in the last 100 yards or so. That was amazing. It's hard to imagine that they are able to time things that perfectly. I really thought the breakaway was going to win the stage. Talk about an exciting finish!

It is exciting, although I only watched the beginning yesterday and then later the fourth climb. I need to go watch the end of the stage before I start on today's program ! I am much more excited about this race than ever before.

No team leader - how sad.  Every cyclist out for his own glory.  You guys would probably leave your own team member if they went down in the crash.

nice job on your rides thus far you sissies

nope as was shown today.. we would all hang with out leader

Josh will be granted the fury of jihad by 100 ninja turtles if he comes close to any Astana team member from this point on.

apw0397 (andy) looks like you had a race this past weekend as well? Disco triathlon? Hmm, 70's music and racing. Interesting. How'd it go?

Sorry folks, left home straight after my race on Sunday and didn't have internet access for a few days.

Anyway, race report for Disco is here. It was supposed to be on Oly Tri, but since a nearby city was pumping raw sewage into the lake, they switched it to a du. No arguments here.

You can tell by the pictures of my wife and best friend, it was a fun race. Terrible course and even worse race management, but lots of fun.

It would be nice if the Astana team could ......

KEEP THE RUBBER SIDE DOWN!!

They are just crash prone, and then the team couldn't even hang to get their GC contendor back into the peloton ..... so sad!! Cry Tongue out

Just 31, not 120 - you didn't do triple-by-pass? (not that I did either but have to give you some grief)  BTW, I have seen your bike and pics of Rick's, I think you were wrong.

Went 90 miles yesterday. Felt great till the last 90 minutes or so. Today I was completely dead. Still, I'm proud of the accomplishment.

In the interest of saving my teammate from your (imaginary) ninja turtles while still throwing a little smack around ...

Here's a little something to buoy the broken bodies and spirits of Astana ...

I'm at 6/12 now. Did learn a valuable lesson today too - don't follow Honda Odyssey's too closely. Ouch.
