Very few of us have entered any week 3 data into the spreadsheet so it's a bit difficult to tell how we're really doing. Today is March 21, so the month will be 67.7% over as of midnight. Here's where we are:

THANKS NICOLE!...hi guys...I asked Nicole to take over as captain...since I seem to be having issues motivating myself lately!!!??? sorry to bail...but I have not been the best person to put fires under others...and if we want to win this challenge and more importantly if we want to meet those goals we have set for ourselves...we have to get going and SOON! Love the chattiness...you guys are a riot! never EVER a dull moment on this thread....but now it is time to get serious and to reach those miles/hours that you set for yourself. Don't let the team down! we are all counting on you....so, turn off the computers, put away those chocolates, marshmallow peeps, pull out the dreaded drainer or bicycle and start pedalling!!!! we are counting on you!! RIDE PEEPS RIDE! and bring those cameras if you are riding outside...love seeing where everyone rides! Those of you who are 70+%....still go and ride...we need to hit the 120% in case Cat counts those miles as well!!! don't make me start naming names...and many of you who have been on past teams...know that I will! Once again sorry for bailing as captain....co-captain is a better fit for me at this point!! |

LOL i need to update the spreadsheet, but i'm at %90-something--so i hope that helps our overall balance, i had no idea that i would actually be able to RIDE 100 miles this month, so having it only be the 21st, and being only 10 miles away, it may not sound like much to the likes of martin and chris, but it's a biggie for me. i think total, since about 1988 i've ridden about 20 miles, so this is HUGE for me. anyway, keep riding you peeps you.  julie, ESPECIALLY you!!  |

Hey lyssa! I think you're doing GREAT. 100 miles, superb. Hope you are enjoying it. I've only been riding since Jan 06. Started off on short rides. Used my bro's hybrid which he subsequently sold to me. Used it as a bit of cross training. Got biten by the cycling bug. Upgraded to a racer, upgraded that to a lighter one. Just love getting out. I think I am in last...but doing two hours or so tomorrow (you in, Lynne?)...8 am..... The kids will not let me be on the computer today, they are insane. Fridays are just the worst around here. Looking forward to the weekend. I am also depressed cuz I got on the scale and my weight hasn't budged despite eating pretty good and exercising so much. I am frustrated there. Oh well! Just keep me away from the jelly beans. |
