I'm signed up for IMNO 70.3 on April 5 to kick off my season, then was planning Vineman 70.3 on July 19 and I have IMWI on September 13. I'm starting to think Vineman is a little close so I won't be able to "race" it but can certainly still do it. Plus is 3 big travel races just asking for misery? I have been dying to do Vineman for awhile - who doesn't want to do an HIM in wine country - but can still do Rhode Island 70.3 on July 12 if I decide soon. Still likely can't race this one, but it's close to home and can drive to it. What would you guys do? I would be ALL over it if I could get away with it, but then I am a glutton for punishment. Also I have heard that at Vineman you can walk almost any part of the swim since it is shallow...sigh....My perfect race. I've heard that too! Maybe you can just float on your face and push yourself along with your feet on the bottom |

It's only about a week apart, so it shouldn't be that much different. They are both mdot so they should cost the same. Vineman would require cross-country travel, but I could make a wine country trip out of it. Hmmm..... wine. That sounds pretty good right now! |

Depends on if you want to make a vacation out of it or not, I guess. You could do it the year after and take a longer vacation. I imagine you wouldn't want to take too long to relax with IM Moo training. |

That's way sicker than me wanting to run for 12 hours. (Postponed to next year due to Sugar Daddy's anxiety over training time.) |
