bcart1991 - 2008-09-06 11:37 AM Cutting down trees is kinda fun, but tiring when you're using a bow saw. Artemis, good to hear the winds aren't bad. That's when it can realy hit the fan (literally lol). Remember, it's not THAT the wind is blowing. It's WHAT the wind is blowing... - Ron White

No kidding.  Usually we lose power, so this is a nice change.  The worst we have to deal with is a flooded back yard and a little bit of water in the streets - one of the storm drains near our house is backed up.  Overall, not so bad.

Oh. My. GOD.

Went and did a quick 400 at the pool in the new wetsuit this morning... Holy carp they make a difference. I was zipping right along and looking like I had some clue what I was doing! I couldn't believe the feeling of extra buoyancy and just slipping through the water.

Yay for my Blue Seventy Reaction suit--it's my new BFF in the water. Now if I could figure out how to wear it in the pool without looking like a total tool.

Ummm.. I'm not totally sure but that could be a man card violation..

Men (who haven't had their card revoked.. i.e. 2goggs, etc) can I get a ruling??

He's fine.  But why wear a wetsuit in a chlorine pool unless he plans on washing that sucker out REAL well.

It's not that he wore a wetsuit in the chlorine pool..  It's that it's his BFF (Best Friend Forever) a term mostly used in the girls locker room in Jr High..

Real men don't have BFFs..

I'm going to have to vote for a suspension instead of revokation.. while the use off BFF would normally let us revoke the man card.. he was using it to show affection towards a peice of equipment that is being used towards a "sporting" endeavour....

I don't like the term "BFF".

That is all.

I noted the sarcasm in the BFF comment.

Man card secure. For now.

You're preaching to the choir on this one.

I try to avoid them as much as possible.

I had my long run today and made some interesting nutritional mistakes and now I'm paying the price.  Nasty leg cramps, flushed, kind of a head ache.  Oh well, live and learn...  I don't have an appetite, but I know I would feel better if I ate something...

My breakfast:3 eggs, large bowl of oatmeal with raisins and a touch of brown sugar, banana

Late lunch: A bowl of peanut butter and honey.

-I am floundering.  Does anybody have ideas of what I can eat that is non dairy and
gluten free(no wheat, spelt, barley, rye, etc

So far I have been having rice, eggs, nuts, fruits and veggies, ??? oh yes, I forgot the meat.

Nearly all the dairy free/gluten free foods I have tried are quite nasty.

negative - I don't have any restrictions so It's not part of my thinking (well, I do have some mild sea food allergies, but ignore them on occasion - no way I can give up crab legs...)

I prefer lobster.

I've decided that you can't have PB w/out milk...so I took a "Lactase" pill a few minutes ago and helped myself to a little milk-I am hoping it is the lactose that is disagreeing with me.

I might give soy milk a try, but have been hesitating because my mom is very allergic to soy.

Hi TAN. KIDO... I miss.(you're avatar didn't show up at first here.)

I'm sad. Someone tell me a joke k? Isn't there any medium person left anymore? Like can't someone like me a little and just...do what's normal to find out more about me? Or is there only massively in love or "just friends?" I hate confusion of all kinds. I wish I could have my nails done every five days. I love wearing sweatshirts, and I wish they were sexy. I wish I had someone to care if I looked sexy. I'm so tired of...surface malarkey with people.

I lof lof lof cheese. =) That is all.

ETA: Kido's avatar didn't show up, now it does.

Word.  Though I wish I had someone who thought me as me was just awesome and sexy, no extras needed.  Do you have a favorite type of cheese?
