I'm back....

It has been quiet around here today.

It has.  Slow news day...  I leave to look at plans for an hour, come back and nothing new has been posted....

OK thread about nothing.. here is a mini poll..

Do you like:

Cherries?
Velcro?
Staple guns?
Lightning?
Crosswords?
Modified Trucks?
Long drives?
Tea?
cake?
cooking?
giving gifts?
getting Gifts?
Wrapping gifts?
When you go by a winery and all the rows of vines are perfectly lined up?
Drive Throughs?
time alone in a coffee shop with a good book?
snow sports?
water sports?
taking the pits out of avocados?
multicolored pens?

I would say "yes" to all but "wrapping gifts".  I LOF gift bags for that very reason.....

I love wrapping gifts.. I get quite OCD about the whole thing. I can usually wrap gifts without having any tape showing. I volunteer to do other people's wrapping all the time. I do lots of other people's wrapping at christmas.

I can see that...  I don't mind wrapping if the obect is perfectly square (or rectangular in nature).  Odd shaped items cause me fits (same kind of OCD thing).  I like all the folds, and seams to be crisp.  Wrapping things like bottles or gift baskets give me the willies.....

Know what I like to do?  Fold warm laundary fresh from the dryer......  relaxing....

I don't like transfering wet laundary to the dryer from the washer.  It feels icky....  But it's a necessary evil to get to the joy of folding warm laundary....

I have a very symetrical and crisp fold technique for round objects.  I wish I could show you..

Like pleats on trousers?  I have tried, with limited success....  I'm sure you are much more patient (sp?  Is that the right "patient"?).

Maybe I will subcontract out all my "gift wrapping needs" to Canada this x-mas....

My office chair is kind of broken, but not enough to get a new one (or I'm too lazy to put in a request for a new one).

I just live with it....
