We went over for the last 45 minutes and saw Kathy and Ron (but didn't know who Ron was or else I would have cheered louder).  It was really cool to see the last finishers but also heartbreaking to have those 3 people come in at barely over 17 hours.  Not official finishers but definitely Ironmen!!

Congrats to everyone on a really tough day.

And Alison, when I saw you at the beginning of the Keene descent and you were crawling along I knew that there was some sort of major concern and issue.  Better to be safe than to aggravate you recent injury by another crash.  You tried, it just wasn;t your day.  And considering you've already beaten the course AND you put up a killer swim time, you are still awesome and will always be an Ironman!

Yesterday was my first Ironman experience.

 It was amazing, the crowd was amazing, the athletes were amazing.

 The weather sucked, but, what can you do about it? Congrats to everyone!

A special congrats to Kellie, for those who couldn't see how hard she worked at this, it truly was inspirational. I love you sweetheart, you ar now MY Iron(wo)man!!

Congratulations to all of the IM Finishers yesterday!  Amazing work in horrible conditions.

It was pretty miserable, but I'd rather it rained for 13 hours straight (yes...13 HOURS) than 80, humid and sunny.  Oh well...just makes for a better story in the long run!
