1) short  funny guy
2) tall but not funny
3)funny guy shorter than you but cute
4)tall guy funny, but not so cute
5)short guy, funny, smart, well traveled and semi cute
6)Tall guy, funny, smart, well traveled and semi cute

any of these guys COULD work.

And ALL of these need to be noted as UNMARRIED.

Sometimes you'd never know a guy was married by the way he acts so single and all.

And hides or doesn't wear his ring in person.

The thing is, I know where I stand with my wife, and she knows me.

I'm trying to understand that statement, "he acts so single and all"?  There's a way to act married versus acting single, besides the obvious of not trying to hit on someone and be a slimeball?

I act like a kid and am smarmy, but do I throw out some weird unmarried vibe?

Interested in this.

That was NOT directed at you.  But a LOT of married men (and woman) portray and live a very very very single life.  Unless someone tells you they are married (if they don't wear a ring) how is one supposed to know they are married?

You can't.  We weren't given an "I'm single" or "I'm married" or "I'm hermaphroditic" or "I HATE PEOPLE SO LEAVE ME THE FUCH ALONE" buttons.

You know, now that I read my "Interested in this" statement, that should have been typed as "I am interested in knowing".

Fill now you're just being argumentative. Really, it's apparent what she's saying, and she's right -- lots of married dudes act single. As in don't mention the wife or kids back home when they're on a business trip. You asked how someone is supposed to know you're married -- YOU TELL THEM!

I'm being argumentative?

In her dream...  WTF?
Ahole.

I should learn to keep it in my pants...

Well, if she is going to be mad at me ANYWAY...  just saying.

Tell her if it makes her feel better, she can dream about cheating on you with me (assuming she doesn't already).

Okay.  Time for lunch.

But on a final note before going back to work, you peeps have some wild plans for celebrating New Year's?  We have some out-of-town guests coming from Kentucky (my wife's friend is originally from 'Sconnie-land and her hubby was from the Pittsburgh area).

See ya.
