D001 - 2008-06-01 11:57 AM So today is June 1st. That means I can get rid of my flower-power penalty avatar. But... I kind of like this one. I think I'll keep it another month week day hour few minutes, at least.

oh goodie! we get to go back to days of the ever changing avatar!

Well, I can change my avatar even WITH the penalty running. You just got to see several flowers this month, is all. LOL

lastcall2003 - 2008-06-01 5:32 PM I also had at least a dozen people look at my house in NE - so, that is good as well

Wow. Who said the housing market is slow? Then again, they looked - now let's see what type of offers they make. Hopefully, you'll be able to sell it quickly.

I hope so!  Luckily my house is in a part of town that people are always trying to get in to - and my new kitchen should help a lot!

Hey everyone!

Got home from the MS ride.  Yesterday went well.  I averaged about 15 mph over the 75 miles, but my knee was really hurting last night.  I iced it and took lots of ibuprofen, but it was still sore this morning.  So, I rode this morning and it hurt a lot.  I made it to the first rest area and stopped and got a sag to the end.

I'm depressed.  Upset that I didn't finish again and that I'm sore.  I think it's an ITB problem, so I can work on fixing it, but I'm annoyed and angry at myself right now.

I feel your pain, Jen Have you been fitted on your bike? Maybe your cleat position is off putting more strain on your knee. Also, what kind of pedals do you ride? Pedals with float really help take the stress off your knees.

Afternoon, Nibbs!

My race was awesome! (Except they measured wrong, so the run was a little short . . . but even considering that . . . ) I have a new PR, hit some new highlights, met a couple of new (to me) BTers - Noony & Jimbo, and had fun.

I'll post up the RR soon - waiting for the official T2 splits, although I can pretty much figure it out from what I do know.

Yay Kristen! Woo hoo on the PR!!!

I did my ride today. I don't know how I miscalculated my route so bad. I called my husband at mile 45 to come get me because I was still 8 miles from home. Yes, that is rather wussish. But I was incredibly dehydrated from the heat and the wind and I didn't plan on being out for more than 40 miles. More taper madness, I guess.

I was fitted, but I got a new seat and I think that threw off my fit.  I thought I had it worked out better, but I think I need to go back in and have it fixed.

I have Look Keos with the red cleats, so I have 9 degrees of float.  No problems there.

It was really hot out today.  Better to call him than to have to go in for an IV or something.  Lots of people dropping that way during the MS ride yesterday and today.

So Beth, You saw a lot of houses again today and had a bunch more possibilities?  Great!  Things could be looking up   Nice having that many folks at the open house too.  Hope there's some serious nibbles and a good bite quickly.  I love your kitchen, no wonder it's hard to leave behind!

If it makes you feel better, I vacuumed up my wedding ring once.  Thankfully we have a bagless vac and I could go through the dirt in the canister to find it.

Have you had any of the Lean Cuisine flatbread sandwiches?  They are pretty good.  I like them better than the paninis.
