My ex and I were going to refi our house in Omaha into a 15-year but she didn't wanna do that. I'm glad she talked me out of it. It allowed us to buy the Chicago condo and still have a little left over for the Colorado place, which we don't actually pay for anymore since we got divorced. thomas1999 - 2009-09-24 1:51 PM olliedawg - 2009-09-24 12:28 PMSo I've settled on a mortgage lender and I'm starting the pre-approval proccess. Time to start looking at houses. I'll be honest, I'm a little nervous. Okay... more than a little. Remember when I closed on my house I walked out and nearly threw up. 30 years is a long, long time! It has been one of the most rewarding expierances though. I'm doing a 15 year loan with 4.5% fixed IR. Wow, this is way too serious for TAN. Something definitely smells fishy here. I'm doing 15 yr since I don't plan on being here for more than 5 yrs, so I want to get in now and build as much equity as I can before I move. You smell fishy batch! No, really, what smells fishy? |

However, after you do it once, it seems easier after that. This is how my marriage started .... (note that we got through all that and lasted 18 years before it ended) he graduated college on Wednesday. we closed on our first house on Friday we got married the weekend after moved into our new house he started his first REAL job the week after we got back from our honeymoon we bought the house across the street (as a rental) a month later we started our own business a couple years after we were married we built a new house a year after that Talk about all the HUGE stressors in life. Oh yeah add in we had a baby too. I am surprised we did not KILL each other. that is crazy.....glutton for punishment apparently.....but your marriage lasted through all that....you must have turned into a real biatch to be able to run him off after all that....just kidding by the way......i'm learning my sarcasm is not picked up much on here |

Did you youtube it? Where did you find it? I can view it at work... but I wouldn't mind watching it sometime at home. How come all the Kona IM shows make me cry? They are just so freaking inspirational. Universal Sports is playing TONS of triathlon this week. However, it's a channel that's hit or miss if you have it or not. I have cox communication which has it in it's lineup. You can also go to Universal Sports.com and check out the video section. I was just there a,few minutes ago. Plenty of coverage for this years events. |

Pro 4189 Pittsburgh, my heart is in Glasgow | Subject: RE: TAN # 84 - The TAN-somest Thread Ever The G20 has taken over my town. It's kinda crazy...they've been preparing all week, putting up fencing and barricades all over. Today was the first day of the summit. Last night Pat and I went around the city just to look at what was going on...there were school buses full of National Guard, more State Troopers than I have ever seen in my life, some 4,000 non-city police were deputized last night. They have been out on marches all day long (for the most part being pretty cool...stopping for pictures, chatting, giving directions). Out of morbid curiosity, I took my bike and went as far to the perimeter as I could this morning...and there was nothing! There was absolutely NO ONE in one of the busiest parts of the city, no traffic, nothing. I stood in the middle of a main road and took a picture. But now the protests have started in earnest. My husband and I don't live far from where the main shite is going down (literaly just across a bridge). Teargas being used earlier, and a bit of a showdown going on at this time. I'm not going to get in this...I can't afford (financially or personally) to get arrested, I can't afford to get hurt (again). But I have to say from a journalist/photographer point of view, it's amazing and fascinating to watch. Pics of some of the prep stuff that went on earlier in the week (from my husband's Flickr) http://www.flickr.com/photos/patrick...7622311143243/ __________________ |
