I'd be happy to put together a spreadsheet for the "watching crew" - but of course we'll need other BTers to update it for us come race day. But at least we could get that part out of the way.

I'll watch this thread and keep adding to my spreadsheet, but if you would PM me with this information, it is usually what is included in the BT tracking spreadsheets:

Screen Name
Real Name
Bib Number
What number of IM is this for you?
Goal?

9 = represents 'finality'..........the completion of a man's work. The time and training are complete - time to go to work.

4 = 3 + 1............the beginning. Four directions, seasons, dimensions (the fourth being time) - 17 hours or bust - time to go to work.

3 = represents 'completeness' - what is now whole or complete - 3 disciplines - swim, bike, and run are now complete!

James Nissen from Tremont, Illinois......................(stay tuned!)

I can't predict the weather, but I can say that Lake Monona is very comfortable.  With nights in the 40-50s lately the water temp has dropped considerably!

someone once posted that they have some kind of spreadsheet that you can enter your splits, transitions, etc and it would plot out where you will be throughout the course at IM.  I don't think there was a charge for it, but he accepted donations.  I thought I saved the link but now I can't find it.

Can anyone provide this?  Thanks.

If that weather holds (which we know it won't) I'd be a happy camper. Nice and COOL. I'd gladly take some minor rains instead of heat. Looks like Looville is HOT today.

It's $3 and Steve Patton will send you the file.  I just bought mine.  Took him about 48 hours to get it to me.  Very slick.

Uhm, I just biked the loop and ran for an hour afterwards...it isn't cool at all...94F and humid as heck today.    Of course wait a day and it'll all change...the way I figure it is we are all in for the same thing so no worries.

I was referring to the predicted High 70 Low 51 posted above... which we know will change by race day anyway. Wishful thinking.

Suzy, can you change your times as you get closer or is it a one shot deal?  I really don't have any idea what I will do, but I thought I would try and my wife and son can use it with athlete tracker to maybe find me at some point.

If your wife has her pc with her, she can change it as often as she likes and it will update the maps for her.  Like you,  I have no idea how well I will do on the swim.  The way I am handling it is giving my husband and posse multiple versions (the dream swim of 1:35, to the probable 1:45, to the oh-crud 2:00!), that way they can look at the closest one and get a reasonable estimate of where I will be on the bike.  Assuming no disasters, I probably have the best shot of estimating that since I am 100% tied to watts and ridden the course so much.  Make sense?  If you PM me your email address, I can show you a SNAG IT of the 2007 one I used for a friend so you get an idea of how it looks.

Wow, if that 15 day forecast holds true, there are some mid to high 60's a few days ahead. Lake Monona would be coolin off big time.
