I found 3" of additional water in my pool and I don't know how it got there.  I'm sort of concerned/confused or concerened about my confusion.

An additiona 3 inches, wow that is a lot!

I spent the night insulting Siri.  She is basically worthless and let her know.  I did find a FEW things she did well, but that's about it.  Then a couple hours doing my best Bob Ross impersonation.  It was fun!  I may get into painting for reals.

I posted this in the other gun thread, but I thought I would share here too.  Just thinking about it makes me sick to my stomach with nerves.  The climate has changed for sure:

My friends and I played a senior prank that I look back NOW on with shock because of the changed climate.

It was finals week in 1987.  We snuck into the school, put ski masks on and pulled out uzi looking automatic squirt guns, went to our favorite teachers office, raided the exam and yelled something and proceeded to "shoot" everyone with water and ran down the hall to the next classroom.  Then made a grand getaway...

Sure, some startled looks, but then lots of laughs.

Could you IMAGINE the trouble someone would be in if they did that today?

Oh. Mah. Gaw.

LOOSEY! I need a life update!

Quick update:  up to 4 kids (12, 10, 6, 3).  Finally getting back into running and the extra lbs are falling off.  The final straw was over the winter when I blew out a disc in my back.  Decided enough was enough and I needed to get back in shape.  Jen is just as supportive as always.  If I'm not working, coaching kids sports or running I'm planning the next trip to Walt Disney World.  Life is good and getting better.  How's my fellow Celiac?

I really like your artwork that you've been posting on FB.  You are good!  you should take up painting for reals.  Do you use a stylus?  I have that program too but my drawings look like the cats did them.

*blush*

Thanks...  I thought about using the sylus, but stick to my fingers.  I have talented fingers...

I'm still learning what all the setting do and how they affect the results/look.  At the same time, I'm "painting" various subjects and various styles to see what I like...

I always like the thought of getting into it for real.  It appealed to me, but it's a bit expensive to get started.  I probably research the materials once every 4-5 years with the thought of getting into it.

I'm super sad.  I made a beautiful espresso shot this morning, then forgot to drink it.  It's sitting at home.  All lonely.

It's going to taste bad when I get home.  Maybe I will mix it with milk or something.  Shame to let it go to waste.   Or pour it out in my pool to add to the "bonus" water I got in there already.

Yet another random thought...

I had the thought the other night.  I may just not have kids.  EVER.  I realized how much freedom I would have with the wife and extra money to enjoy all our years.

I know they are wonderful and all, but the thought of being tied down for 20 years?  No thanks.

I always ASSUMED they would come along, but this was the first time I think I realized I might be happier without.  My older cousin is the same way.  No kids.

Awww kiddos! Sounds like things are awesome as usual!
I'm doing well - I'll be up in your neck of the woods in a few weeks for Chicago Marathon. Running it with my sister and her husband, their first. My shins gave me a lot of trouble about a month ago so I haven't ran in 4 weeks. What could possibly go wrong?

Yes...  But then I  drop some random post.

I LOVE the freedom I got when I realized that I don't CARE if anyone responds to a post.  I would take it personally at first.  Like I was being ignored.  Or if I didn't get a "like" or "comment" on FB.

No I just use them as a dumping ground for my personal random thoughts and don't expect anyone to read/care.  It's a wonderful feeling.

You're not the only one who feels this way! I have two good girlfriends (BTers in fact!) who are also married and say this exact same thing.

I'm on the fence myself. Luckily I don't have to decide anytime soon

Everything is about me or me and her.  Maybe with some thoughts to our dogs.  With kids, just about everythign is about THEM.  I can't even comprehend what you have to give up for that.

I know you don't MIND giving it up to some extent.  But I know so much of the freedom I enjoy would be gone.

Kids are a lot of work and suck a lot of life and money out of many things in life, so if you are NOT sure or fence sitting, not having them is a good idea cause MY god they change your life by the minute.

I never really made a conscious decision to have kids, so took me some time to adjust and realize how hard it would be.  Glad to have them of COURSE, but if I had to decided now as a REAL adult and knowing how hard marriage can be.....not sure??

At 23, I knew very little about what life was all about.  Even though I was on my own since 17.
