I had it on my BBerry and used it for voice only. It worked better than the laptop and wireless.

its worth it for the free calling internationally....if you have a need for that. if you have a front-facing camera there is an added benefit - my husband can skype me when i'm in germany for work even if he can't get home when i can get to a computer.

I was in Philly last year for trick or treat night. Was at Pat's Steaks (all the seating is outside) having my dinner and watching the little hobgoblins crusing the neighborhood. I gave a couple of kids some change. It was cool.

So my primary care doc might not be all THAT bad. They are letting me keep/giving me a referral for a specialist appointment this morning, but said "if it's just a routine prescription we can write it for you without you having to to go and pay for the specialist" - hmmm ok I like that part. But the specialist actually figured out what was WRONG with me, not my primary care doc, and has been treating me for 2-3 years with success.

Maybe that's normal for a primary care doc to take over? I dunno, it's the first specialist I've seen for a specific ongoing issue.

i'm confused by this whole post. BUT it may be an insurance compliance issue, and completely out of the doc's hands? i just got new insurance and it's making my life miserable in all sorts of ways.

Insurance companies are forcing this medical gatekeeper role on PCPs. Most of them hate it because referrals and stuff are just extra work that they can't bill. Offering to do the specialist's job is one way to make a little money for the care you need. Sucks that PCPs aren't all Robert Young.
