My wife's dad did a sleep study. He sleeps with a machine that keeps positive pressure so he doesn't snore and have sleep apnea (sp) Just tell her that is she can't sleep, she's not working hard enough during the day. When I go horizontal for sleep...it's lights out. If you can't sleep...you're not tired enough. Practice ducking before you tell her that though. |

You need to get up there for another ride like 6 gap and let loose on the descents. A number of them are scary but they are worth the climb. I tipped out at 54 mph last year coming down hogpen. It was a rush! |

(still) I am going to be up that way for a week in June for Boy Scout Camp. I may try Brasstown by itself if I get a chance. I might give Hogpen another run too. Apparently that bugs a lot of women, they'd like intimate cuddle time afterwards rather than launching into the snoring and drooling phase. They can get a dog for that. I read a study that proved that the male body produces 'sleep signals' for the first 3 min after ejaculation. So if she keeps you awake for 3 min afterwards...then it's the guys fault. She should be working better after the deed...then we can cuddle. Or...you didn't make her work hard enough adn she isn't tired. then shame on you!! |

It is about 7 miles....long and boring but empowering when you get to the top. |

Thats what I'm talkin about! I was advised many years ago by my cancer surgeon to NEVER run w/o a jock. He was afraid I might, um, damage adjoining buildings and innocent parties from the jostling... Here we go again with Spokes braggin' about the size of his nut. Who runs with a jock anyway? I thought football players were the only ones who still wore those... |
