SWBKRUN Mentor Group-"Off Season?" What is that?!! (Page 320)

Got my run out of the way at lunch, looks like soccer practice is cancelled so that Game 1 is sounding pretty good tonight and the couch, of course, mixed in w/ some Modern Family.  I may be slowly getting hooked on that show.  Tony and I watch very little nightime TV outside of sports so that's a big deal. 

Speaking of TV and wasting time b/c I have now lost the motivation to continue writing my own performance review, what are your favorite TV shows right now?

My favorites:
- LOST (all the way, baby but soon to be over)
- FlashForward
- Sanctuary (scFi)
- Modern Family (? - it's growing on me)
- any FOOTBALL game except the Redskins b/c they are an embarrassment to the NFL (I'm a little bitter right now)

I was the same way, never had a problem and on my last long run before MCM I started to have issues with my achillies.  I taped it up per her suggestion one piece across the back of the heel around the side of the foot, 2 pieces that go from the ankle up to the ball of the feet, then 2 that cross over both.  Not sure if that is exactly the way suzy described it but that is what I did.  Amazing how much support it provided.

Also some good stuff she and others posted around that time, should have been a week or so ago from Sunday/Monday when it was posted.

Only one, The Big Bang Theory.  I think it is really funny.  It is the only show my husband will stop surfing to watch.

Hey Reuben

Is it the achilles or the soleous?  Pinch the tendon right above your heel.  Is it sore?  I think going back and looking at those pages would be a good idea, but often times the soleous is what is causing issues with the achilles.  You really need to spend some time doing deep tissue work in that area to get it to loosen up.  Stretching along WILL NOT work.  I have the TP roller and use it religiously in that area every night.  Let me know if you have any questions once you wade through the info.

We're lame at our place...All the CSI's(although Miami is slowly phasing out), Survivor, Biggest Loser.
Oh yes and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Out of the Box, Little Einsteins.

born and raised in greenwich ~ 35 minutes from the stadium.  many many summer days spent there.  so i'm not like a lot of these loser red sox fans who hop on a wagon and some yanks fans.  family has had season tickets for a number of years now.   man they got jacked in the move across the street.  in the old place we were in the loge just outside 3rd.  if you've ever been there you know how small the concourses are.  the loge is the best level because there are only 15-20 rows or so.  now they are upstairs in left field.  bs.

but why did cheese cake throw utley the same two pitches.  dumb a$$.   can't wait to see pedro tomorro night.  that place is gonna go ape sh*t.

I'm racing this weekend.  Just a little 5K - one last little speedy run to sharpen up the legs.

No racing for me this weekend though I am very tempted to ask my neighbor if he really wants to run the OBX 1/2 since he hasn't been training and they allow transfers at the expo...  LOL, I want a shirt and medal.

hey i have a 5k to so lets race!  i also have a 10k following but i'm actually still on the fence about it.  we'll see.  1/2 hour between races.    i just need a costume.  its a family affair so the fat transvestite idea people are talking about for me on the texas boards won't work.  hmmmmm.

suzy thanks for the article.  i had a hard time getting past the picture then she starts off talking about kara.  difficult read when other things are on teh mind ;-)

Race, huh?  Ok so what are the terms?

And kids shows are a given for anyone w/ a tv and toddlers!  I'd say that a DVR is one of the best potty training tools ever.  My son never has "I can't get up to go the bathroom b/c I'll miss my show accidents."  He just yells "PAUSE IT" as he darts from the room to the bathroom.

I have been wary of NYT online articles lately.  They seem to write about a lot of stuff, and don't seem to worry if it's right/wrong/uninformed, etc.  Pulling quotes from Slowtwitch and citing the users screen name, make me nervous...

LOL, yeah he doesn't understand that every TV doesn't have pause, rewind or record for live TV.

I think an avatar bet or sig bet is in order for you guys racing.

oh lets not talk about potty issues right now.  we're having a bit of trouble with jack.
