Judi - did your mom get in ok?

Yes, her new flight put her in at 2:15 yesterday afternoon so it actually worked out better for me to get her then (in terms of getting my run in and getting the house picked up some)

enders_shadow - 2008-03-21 8:32 AM Morning, Nibbs! Happy Friday!

Morning Nibbs!

Kristen - your new av ROCKS!

Beth - sorry to hear about the Easter flight, hope you can find a flight change within a couple hundred dollars.

Judi - glad mom got in safely.

Mila - you are SO lucky your flight got out yesterday.  Another delay, and you may have been spending the weekend in MN...expecting 5 inches of snow today...

Morning Nibbs!

Beth, sorry your flight got messed up.  Are you going to have any problems getting out of Milwaukee?  It looks like they are expecting snow this afternoon.

Good morning, Nibbs!

If you can't get your flight changed maybe you can have a nice Easter brunch?

More snow, Sal. Yuck. Although it makes the Easter egg unt less challenging unless you are using plain white eggs.

Good morning, Jen!

Good morning, Kristen! Lookin' good in your avatar.

Must get a shower. Although I've ben pretty lazy this morning, I did go swim at 6:15 am. Been a long time since I've done the early morning thing, but with the kids out of school and a run to do this afternoon, there wasn't much choice.

Bad news is - my flight was cancelled - too much snow in Milwaukee - good news is I was able to change my flight on Sunday to leave at 5:40 so I will get to have Easter Dinner.  My flight leaves at 6:35 am tomorrow morning - as Mila would say - at the crack of stupid

ahhh, such is the life of a traveler - trying really hard not to cry right now

Commuting sucks! Snow sucks! Getting to stay for Easter Dinner, righteous! At least it's all not going down the drain.

Ohhhh noooo!  Sorry, Beth.  I feel your pain having spent a large amount of time in airports during the last 48 hours.  Because of the holiday and the snow up in the tundra, flights are packed.

Oh, and yes, that is the crack of stupid.  I hope, though, that unlike me yesterday, you get up at the crack of stupid and are actually able to get on your flight home!!!

I decided, having spent 7 hours sitting in the airport with little to do, that airports need movie theaters or bowling alleys.  Yup, they do.  Some genius with more money to invest than I is gonna make a mint off of that idea.  Just think of all the people that get stranded on a regular basis because of mechanical failures (twice in my case this week) and weather delays.  This is the second time in revent memory that I've spent in excess of 5 hours at an airport.

Mila, just think how many inspires you could have caught up on if you had a laptop with you.  They've got wireless at MSP, but you have to pay $6/day for it...

...or you could have gone swimming with me in the morning...

Well, that would have been a lot of fun... oh wait... on second thought, I'd have been spending my time at Life Time and the silly MOA because there was:  "I have to swim.  There's a new baby.  I'm on a rock climbing wall." and there was also the "I'm tired because I rode in the cold and now I'm having a beer and going to bed" contingency .

Actually, the real problem is that if I stayed you might have brought more caramel bugles and my thighs and butt just really couldn't have handled that...

I did play with my frined's iPhone quite a bit so I at least caught up on email and took care of my business.  I opted not to try to catch up on inspires... my cell phone battery was already dying and I didn't want to kill his .

...or you could have gone swimming with me in the morning...

You didn't get the memo?  I quit swimming .
