When I told them I was doing them too, he asked me all kinds of questions. One was for a location to a tri shop. I told them, of course. Well, ran into him last night again at the gym, and he told me that he dropped over a $1000 into tri gear at the shop I directed him too (I should get a commision!). Anyway dropped $500 on a wetsuit alone! He is only doing a sprint with a 400 yard swim. YIKES! Now I feel bad that I told him wetsuits make you faster. I hope he stays in this sport. ALSO, he could have done a better job at shopping around. I have two wetsuits and still haven't spent $500. But you didn't tell him to go out and purchase the most expensive suit. Hopefully he'll come to a realization. Trust me, I don't feel THAT bad. A fool and his money........ I just smiled and rolled my imaginary eyes in my head....
