Kind of...he had a major surgery in September and is working on getting his strength and endurance back.  He (Jonathan) was 3 months premature and has a few issues that resulted from the super early birth, one of which is joint related.  He doesn't bike because it is painful...but that could be partially due to a bad bike fit.??  He is active, but at this point I don't know if/how much he might be limited by the joint issues.

I know that he can't give me crap about buying an expensive carbon fiber bike...He is really into pool/billiards and has a carbon fiber cue!

So no, he probably won't be doing a triathlon with me, but he is very supportive of my endeavors.

Jonathan came over last night for a few hours.  He arrived with a large vase of flowers...lots of lilies, eucalyptus, evergreen baby's breath, Queen Anne's Lace and more...

It is gorgeous and fragrant.

That's fantastic! Friends have been trying to convince me to do that, yet I resist. Always nice to hear about happy matches!

(I do have one friend who married a match from Match.com, so....)

I  know I shouldn't admit this, because I'm not really sure what it says about me...but years ago I tried Eharmony and after the couple hours of filling out the profile I finally got my results for matches.  It said something to the effect of, "we don't have anyone in our database that is compatible with you."  Surprised

lol.  I remember just sitting there staring at the computer in disbelief.  Now it's just a funny story to tell.

From what I've heard, this isn't uncommon. eHarmony is looking for people of a certain type and if you are not that type, they won't help you (I'm not sure what that type is).

Agreed.  I've had friends who have gotten the same message because they don't fit the profile of what eHarmony is looking for.

I got a trial membership for match too.  I was in touch with a very amazing guy with in two days there.  He is super busy right now and we haven't talked much, but when things calm down a bit we are going to get together...a just friends/have a great conversation thing.

He is a semi famous christian rock musician, owns his own successful media business, and has the greatest sense of humor.  He also is a 36 years old super hot.  Right now he is finishing up his latest album and getting a album release concert organized.

I only had trial memberships for both sites so I didn't have to pay a dime!

Aww, how sweet.  I met my DH online - matchmaker.com.  I don't even think the site is still around anymore.  I met some really, um, interesting guys on that site, until I found the one that was 'the one'.

Way to go!!!

I want to keep posting here too (well I don't get on here that much, but I should try to do better).  Still working on goals, what I want to do fitness wise - haven't got my butt back into the pool yet.  The two times I was all set to go, the pool was closed for repairs.  I'm leaning towards working on my running more.   And I know I need to up my stregth training / core / flexibility work, but I'm trying decide whether to ante up for a personal trainer, or what.
