Bike leg, 12 ninety degree turns and 12 U Turns. That sure kills the speed on the bike.

But it was all on campus and no cars so that was nice.

Ha, atleast you didn't put your helmet on backwards!

Heh... I hope there are some good pics .

Nice job today, Cash!  Sounds like fun despite the U-Turns.

Pictures = bad. Tri top kept riding up during the run, turned into a belly shirt no matter how often I pulled it down.

Stayed down fine for bike and swim. Not sure why it has a need to ride up to my rib cage when I run.

Tan arms, tan legs white belly = not good. I am 5 10 and 185 pounds. I may have a case and not a 6 pack. Belly shirt makes it look like the whole keg.

Great Minds think alike!   This boy genius did the EXACT same thing in his last reverse tri!  DUH!   You're not alone -- We just wanted some extra drag so we didn't beat the others too badly...

Nice race man

Congrats

Hate the belly shirt thing -- we're about the same size and it happens to me as well.   That's one reason I graduated to a 1 piece tri suit.  No belly shirt and no roll down on the waist of the tri shorts.

So I branched out today and rode with the local club this morning....verdict? The old dudes smoked me! I TOTALLY couldn't keep up. It was supposed to be an easy recovery ride but I'm more tired now than I can remember after a ride.

When I say "old" I mean the guy leading the pack most of the morning was 81 and he had a stroke on the course a year prior...yes, A STROKE! So that's saying something about my fitness level and his.

Mmmm humble pie tastes... bitter! Time for a nap!

LOL... it does taste bitter but good for you for getting out there!  Now you have to do it again... and again... and again... and before you know it, you'll be leading the pack .

Good Job redlv,

Pure Cyclists are tough to keep up with, but each time you go out there, hang on just a little longer!!!!

Where's everybody? I'll be updating the February Challenge Wednesday night the 20th, so hopefully everybody is near their goals for the month.  I need to swim more but otherwise I'm OK.  Keep on keeping on!!!!  If you've been sick/injured or other issues I'll readjust the goals and if you have been SB'ing I'll readjust your goals too.  Hope everyone had a good start to the week, decent start for me.  See y'all.  Jim

Hey all.  I go away for 4 days and ya'll have a whole new page posted.    Caught up on my blog tonight.  Not feeling so hot.   Low grade fever, cough, and aches.  WTF?  I am washing my hands, using sanitizer, and taking Airborne.  Do I need to wrap myself in a bubble, I already feel paranoid...

Yeah right, ya big SB'er.

My swim goal is on target.  Don't think the bike or run are anywhere close but I'm trying to behave myself medically.  With that said, I might still pull it off... one just never knows with me .

So sorry you're sick.  Hmmm, low grade fever, cough and aches... that's how I feel on a good day, hee hee!!! Sorry, couldn't resist poking fun at myself.  I hear ya on the bubble thing.  Trust me, if I could figure out how to ride a bike in a bubble, I'd go for it!

Nice... running in a light drizzle is lovely, as long as it's not cold!
