Good Morning Evil Elves! Yes we had another good week. Some of us have had a little harder time then others due to sickness, pool closures, and job related restrictions. Overall you have all done a great job and have exceeded some of your own personal best times and distances, so good on you all. With that said, this is our last week and time to make a push to catch up and finish. Let me know if I need to make any adjustments. Last but not least have a Merry Christmas everyone!

I swam a thousand yards today which is 914.4 meters... and puts me less than 400 meters/one swim away from reaching my goal.

Oh, was Santa good to everyone?

That's a good question. Not all the results are in just yet from what I can see. Will probably see the results by the end of the week due to Christmas Travelers.

Oh and yes Santa was good to me. 80% of my gifts were tri/running specific and I even got a stocking stuffer full of cash to buy the Tri-shorts I wanted. Life is good.

Good Job! I just got a bike ride it and another 1000 meters of swimming. Prior to last month I never swam over 3000 meters in any month prior to last month and this month I will have swam over 14000. This challenge and training program have been great.

Hope everyone's Christmas was great and that Santa treated you all well.  Mine was okay, already working on a plan to avoid mother and sister next Christmas.  I enjoy it SO MUCH more when it's just me and my boys.

Plans are to run this afternoon, maybe swim a little too.  Definitely swim Sat morning and next Tues morning, hopefully that'll finish me off just in time for the end of the month.

I had a lovely lunch with Nicole (MDHillSlug)! As far as relevant conversation, she thought Mila would be a hoot to meet, and I had to tell her that it is indeed true, having met Mila once when she and a few other BTers tried to kill me on my bike. I personally think a group trip to meet Hector is a must someday. Have a great end to the month and the year, Elves!!!

This means that I have surpassed my swim goal of 8500 Meters . 

Can I still raise my goal (how about to 9,137 meters?  I jest, I jest...)?  If so, I'll see what swims I have left between now and Monday and come up with something.

OK, first of all, we didn't try to kill YOU... we tried to kill Mindy .  Note to all:  the term "car right" should never be confused with "alright".  Meanwhile, if I was anything less than delightful, it's all Sal's fault (of course, it always is) 'cause I had to get eleventy billion miles in at race pace that day.  Yes, yes, Sal, it paid off, blah, blah, blah, yiddy, yiddy, meow, meow .

I go to Maryland all the time, Nicole.  I'll just show up on your doorstep one day.  I'll have been in the car for many hours with three small children.  Make sure the cocktails are ready.

Kristen, it was great to meet you IRL when I wasn't loopy from my first triathlon. You know you want to do Lake Anna with me!
