I love this song. No particular reason.

I see the fragments of the dreams I used to have
And bits of aspiration lying in the sand
The stained glass wall of love that I cannot see through
Provides the only light here in my lonely room

A breeze reminds me of the changing time and place
A tear that takes forever rolls down your timeless face

I hear that they say that broken hearts will mend
But when they do theyre never good as new
I wish right now I could change it back
I never meant to do the things I did to hurt you

I never really thought that it would come to this
Sometimes the things you lose are often the things you miss
I see the reason for things I used to do
Theyre all transparent now and so I see the truth
I hear they say that broken hearts will men
But when they do theyre never good as new
I wish right now that I could change it back
I know you dont believe but I care about you
And I never meant to do those things I did to hurt you

grdavison - 2008-09-06 9:27 PM hola everyone

Hola.. I'm going to b*tch slap all my Girlfriends who said Proactive was the most wonderful stuff on earth..

I feel like my face is burning off my skull..

I HATE proactive.  It made my skin worse because it was so irritating.

I'm back from the duathlon.  I rocked the bike and survived the run.  I really need to be a better runner.

I am quite the opposite - I like the run and survive the bike and need to become a better cyclist. Didn't even finish the dang duathlon today. Just wasnt' feeling it, the bike course was narrow in a lot of spots (cones too far in), and lots of debris, making it difficult for me to stay as far right as I usually do (which is practically on the shoulder, so I don't get in the way of the fasties). So all the fasties were yelling at everyone, but in some spots, there simply wasn't much room. I did one loop with my heart in my throat, and called it quits. The first 2.5 mile run though was good - I rocked it, I'm pretty sure I ran sub-9-minute miles - came in just under 20 minutes, or right around there.

That sounds scary!

I almost got hit head on during my race.  I was one of the last bikers, so most people were going in the opposite direction.  Some of them were riding 2 or 3 across while cars were trying to pass, so the cars went in my lane and barely got out of it before they got to me.  NOT fun.

Yes, 'twas not fun. I'm going to go take a quick nap/rest before church tonight. Been up since 4:30 and been on my feet almost all day - was to meet a friend downtown to see an art exhibit but she ended up seeing it yesterday and neglected to tell me! So since I was already downtown, I went and saw it anyway.

I suppose I did alright since no college kids were hurt in the process.  Seriously though I was helping organize, not race - it was a lot of work.
