Morning TAN!

Apparently the vacation is over and I can't pretend anymore that the growing pile of laundry isn't a figment of my imagination.  Boo.

I'm going to have coffee first before attempting any domestic crap though.

Universal solution to never doing domestic crap again:  1 red sock + laundry= more time for coffee and other distractions like TAN

Or you set the vacuum cleaner on fire and break the dryer and put the "good" cookware in the dishwasher, and...

Morning Gorgeous!

Um... I've already almost set the kitchen on fire twice, so I think that counts?

Oh yes that most certainly counts!!!

Good to know I'm doing something right!!!

I would definitely implement this solution, however, I've already done a bang up job of removing myself from the cooking duties as has been evidenced by the number of times the fire department has been called to the apartment building because of me.

Besides, if I do the 1 red sock thing that will just ruin my clothes too, and that's not good!

Solution: blame husband for sock and go shopping.  It was his fault afterall.

Newlyweds, got to be taught everything.

I'm already well-versed in the bolded part (just ask Tony).  It's kinda fun to not be liable for anything!

Ha!  Oh that's just mean though... and as he's also on this site I think he might be onto the plan at some point this morning.  I need to work on being sneakier.

That is what the OTHER Red Sock is for.  Its a subtle unspoken warning saying don't me off or I will turn everything you wear pink.

You know I keep telling the women I row with when it's cold we should just skip practice and go have hot toddies.  They have no idea what I am talking about!

Good Morning Cheri Pie.  How is life in the fast lane?

I've always thought the tall and lanky would be best at yoga. I know that the short and stout are not. My short torso with fat rolls on me gut keeps me from so many positions. Sigh.

I am awful, but need to go to keep movement in my back!  And the full drenched sweat for 90 minutes feels good, makes for soft skin, and the increased blood flow....feels super!

I can not do child's pose(really tight hamstrings) which is just embarrassing, BUT I am really good at triangle and full plow.

Good morning TAN.

TJ, I am living proof that tall and lanky doesn't equal flexible.

I assumed if there was more to fold it would be easier. See...I shouldn't assume anything.

In my situation, more to fold just means farther to fall.

I am signed up until Jan, interested to see if there are any improvements, so far NONE!

BY FAR the worst yogie in the room but motivated by the tip top shaped bodies!  Steering and watching other yogies is creepy but I still do it.

Hiya Cheri! Yoga is great - give it a little time and hopefully your instructor is hands-on in adjusting your poses so you get the most out of it.

I never thought about the correlation between height and good yogis... I would think it has more to do with where tendons and muscles are naturally placed on your body, and experience...

Hi lisa!  How are you, Mr Grey still in the picture?

I can't do much else so i will be in the hot yoga class 5 times a week, so hopefully loosen up some of these tight and unused muscles.

I hate yoga. Its hard for me to get into. And it agitates me to no end. I get very bored and anxious. So I no longer partake. I do a mobility and flexibility class that is more like very painful stretching and digging into your muscles with rollers and balls and such. It hurts the whole time and that keeps my mind occupied.

TJ.....hate is such a strong word but with ya :-)
