They were telling me about some of the agents in the El Paso office who speak with Mexican accents. This became quite funny when a Ford Focus was added to their office fleet. Apparently when someone with a Mexican accent says focus it sounds more like f*ckus. So there you have it. I saw several Ford Focuses (focusi?) on the way to work today and each one made me chuckle. So I thought I should share it with y'all. Focus.

HA!  F*ckus focusi!

ETA:  Dangit - Salty beat me to it.

Foci

We're going to be confusing cars and bread soon.

There is a particular in which these words should be written, yet no one has written them that way yet...

Give up the beer, ya souse.

That pains me to think about.

I need to start a multi step plan. Like, going down the ABV scale until I am at Kirsten's favourite beer, Molson Canadian 64

Reproduced here for the general benefit of the manatees ...

It's in the Washington Times. By researchers from Spain "superbeef" country. Must be true.

Scientists suggest beer after a workout

Proving out that every post run shower I have taken has been both cleansing and beneficial.

Thank you Spain, I will be hydrating after a crapazz week of work. 1 more hour to go.

Chris, I thought of you while watching a TED talk last night.

J and I were really into Kaki King a while back just  before she was featured on the Into the Wild Soundtrack, then she kind of fell of my radar. But I was reminded last night. Anyway, she was the only female to make Rolling Stone's New Guitar God's list in 06

Anyway, if you haven't hear of her, she's a badazz guitarist: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shYdqbJgQdc

Well I hadn't been specifically thinking of putting "Salty" in the word order, but it works.  Oh, yes, it works.

Would a bowlful of Lucky Charms help me sleep, do you think?

I did decide to go for the good drugs and much thankfully so. Headache gone. Still wide awake though. No sedative effect from the drugs. Probably because I'm just so relieved to be out of pain that I want to DO something.

Not exactly. The first has a singular direct object and the second, a plural. Ummm. Embarassed
