triniki - 2008-09-06 12:32 PM How do I post my workouts so they count for the challenge? Do I just log them in on my own training log?

Log them in your training log and also in the team spreadsheet.  If you have problems with the spreadsheet, please let me know.

I usually go through and check everyone's totals in the spreadsheet against their logs at the end of the week.

That doesn't seem to fix it when it's in your log.  I don't know what's wrong.  I might need Dee's help on this one.

Today is the end of our first week.  We are 20% of the way through the month, but only 15% to our goals as a team!  We can definitely do better.  Here's where we stack up individually:

Overachievers (greater than 20%)

sparco (54.7%)
saling4 (26.0%)
otter_sh (22.1%)
Pegasus1731 (20.4%)

Right on Track (15% - 20%)

dimplespoo (19.6)
enders_shadow (16.9)
amyro1234 (16.6)

Need some long workouts (less than 15%)

movingsouth (13.9%)
naners (12.7%)
LazyMarathoner (10.3%)
crea0029 (9.4%)
Artemis (8.5%)
givemashot (6.3%)
jacsuza (3.0%)

Need to get started (0%)

TeamWin75 (0%)
triniki (0%)

There's a lot of progress we can make next week, especially those of us (including me) who are pretty far under where we should be.  Let's try to inspire each other more this week.

It's quiet this weekend.  We're getting passed by the Horny Melons again.  We'll have to work on that next week, too.

Bump me to "on track"... I love the challenge forum, I got off my duff and did a core session -- JUST BECAUSE YOU SHAMED  CHALLENGED ME

Depending on what time dear hubby gets home and what temp it drops to (still 90 at 7PM), I'll go run or bike tonight too.

Um. The Horny Melons have been posting PICTURES.

It's quite motivational.

Although, I think I've been post padding too much on that thread. They're even getting close to my WCPT team. Mila is not amused....

Something is wrong with the link to this thread in the table I posted the other day.

That doesn't seem to fix it when it's in your log. I don't know what's wrong. I might need Dee's help on this one.

What's wrong with it? It looks ok - except that you have it defaulted to always start on the first post in the thread each time... which could get kind of annoying, considering you're already on page 36....

Don't forget to update the team spreadsheet with your current totals tonight!

I'll be pulling the numbers tomorrow for a Challenge update.

Here's your Saturday Night Post Count Padding Update:

And they're off! With just 6 days into the Challenge, all three teams are already up to 35+ pages! Here are the post count challenge standings:

1st place in the post padding standings:
Team Horny Melons - 899 posts

With Yanti, Lyssa, Melissa and TinkerBeth on this team, well, no wonder they're called the Horny Melons.

And yes, there are PICTURES galore on this thread. (And you know how we all love those, right?) If they weren't called team Horny Melons, they'd be called "The Tri Hotties."

Stay tuned - there should be more pictures up soon. Something about a wetsuit, I think?

2nd place in the post padding standings:
Team Whips, Cattle Prods and Tiaras - 887 posts

They should really rename themselves Team Whips, Cattle Prods and TASERS. On this team, the chat is all about "motivation." Some people want to receive it. Others want to give it.

Speaking of "motivation," did you know that tasers come in pink? And camo? And leopard?

Yes, really - tasers come in leopard print. Mistress Mila, chief motivator of the WCPT team, has not only purchased one, but she now has the shoes and handcuffs to match!

3rd place in the post padding standings:
Team Post Padding - 873 posts

Despite being in 3rd place for post counts, they aren't behind by much. And this team is living up to its name, and never putting in a single post what can be split into a good four or five of them.

When not post padding, this team discusses cheesecake, wine and working out. Does anyone want to join them on a 12 hour run? Or a 2 mile swim? And tomorrow, we're hoping that Jen and Kristen get to "du the du."

From Challenge Central, we're off to a great start this month. Keep up the post padding - and maybe even work out every now and then!

Over and out - until tomorrow,
- Dee
