Pardon me for jumping on the party here in TAN but has anyone seen or heard anything from JChristoff? He has not logged anything since December. I know he used to hang out in here sometimes. We got together for some training last summer but I've lost his number...

thanks!

Good question. I get worried when people don't post on here for a long long time after, well, you know.

I am in class...we are suppose to be working on group projects, but half of the class has left.  I decided to read through the most recent pizza thread.  I think that I may have offended a couple of my more 'uptight' classmates with the chuckling and occasional snort.

Aikido. You're so close to your goal. PEOPLE! DONATE! Just chip in $5 or $10!

ooo let me check.  I was less than $100 when I looked this morning...

meh, same place...

I get a little concerned considering how many people I asked.  However, I am almost there just after 24 hours.  THAT'S cool!

It would be fun if I made the top fundraiser list...  The people on it don't have that much...

I'll chip in.  I will need to dig out my credit card first.  unfortunately for my bank account, this is something that I have gotten very good at.

$95 a moment ago

I can contribute $10 (I would give more, but I am already having to steal food from my parents).

Yeah, what's also strange, is that sometimes you don't realize they are gone untill someone mentions it, then it seems odd that you didn't notice a lot earlier....

Son't anyone feel obligated.  my parents and grandparents will most likely do their parent/grandparent 'duty'.  Funny after 40 years, they still treat me like a kid and send me money every b-day and Christmas....

I'm sure they will finish it up.

When I'd take my mom out to lunch she used to give me $10 and a 20-pack of `Big Roll' toilet paper. And, of course, a tupperware thing full of rice.

It's next to impossible to 'treat' the parents out to dinner.  We invite them out when they visit, pick the place, etc.  But I almost have to tell the server to give the check to me before it even comes so they don't snatch it...

Yeah ... mom would usually pay. I offered every time and sometimes she'd let me. My brother on the other hand would pull his usual `I forgot my wallet.' BS, especially when the meals were over $100.

That sucks.  I mean come on, who forgets there wallet very often?  Maybe 'left it at home" (intentionally).

My brother does that all the time. So much so, in fact, that it's become a joke. He never really forgets it, it's just his way of getting out of paying. Oh well, I owe him for teaching me to ride a bike and drive a car and pick up girls at a bar.

I'm supposed to lift, but my heart is not in it.  I think I might jump on a stairmaster instead.  No amount of 'training' I can do now will help for next weekend, but it will be interesting to see how I feel after 30 minutes.  Maybe get a probably pace...

Actually lifting would probably help more - more strength and all.
