All of a sudden I feel something pushing against my leg. I had an overweight chihuahua chasing me down. Guess I wasn't going as fast as I thought. bet you sped up....haha! I used to have a big BIG greyhound that would come out of nowhere every..and I MEAN everytime I would ride my bike as a kid to the neighborhood pool...what sukkked is he was only a few doors away for the pool so no matter which way I went...he would come out!!! one day the owner was out there with him and did nothing to try and stop him from running after me...AND I HAD HAD ENOUGH...I got off my bike as he came at me...I grabbed the back tire and swung the entire bike around....guess what I hit! the dog! he never chased me again!!! and no, Im not a bully...I generally love dogs....but not chasing ones!!! |

BIG day for us here in Chicago!!! I know many people here are against us getting the Olympics because of costs, but I guess because I am a south-sider I can see the potential to rejuvenate neighborhoods that have been neglected for years...oh yeah and I happen to love the olympics sorry Katie...was just watching the news and Chicago was eliminated! I think it would have been great there! my grandmother grew up there and I would have liked to make a trip there to see her old stomping grounds.... obtw...if any of you know who John Phillip Sousa is...my grandmother was asked to perform in a concert in some park in Chicago with him...back in the 30's or 40's! She was a professional whistler...yup there is such a thing! haha ~~she was walking thru the park whistling when Sousa went past...and loved what he heard...he asked her on the spot to come perform with him while he was playing....pretty cool, eh!?? That is REALLY COOL! Wow a professional whistler! and JP Sousa! |
