But, just when you think you're doing all the right things, the other person doesn't perceive it as so. That's all I got to say about marriage for right now. My dad told me something on my wedding day I did not get untill I started to try to fix my marrage but by then it was too late. "you will never find the perfect wife, never. All you can do is be the best husband you can be." Yeah, I figured that out on my own during round two. That's why I will be going to dinner tonight. It WILL be tastey though. Food on the strip is more or less awesome. Also, don't sweat the small stuff... |

BUT, once again, she wants me to drive all the way to the strip, park, and then drive home, to spend maybe 30-45 minutes together over an over priced casino dinner... I always get put in these kind of situations. To be a good hubby or be practical... Could you pack dinner and bring it with you? You'd get to spend time together and it would be a lot cheaper. She's buying! BOOYAH!!! |

Veteran 132![]() ![]() Peabody MA | Subject: RE: TAN 106 - Full of self imporTANceSo at lunch I decided to hop on my bike and whiz over to the Fat Cactus for a tasty fish burrito. I was going merrily on my way shooshing past cars, faster and faster! Then i heard the siren behind me...... Anyway, the thought of being pulled over by the police on my bicycle would normally have me in a panic, but this time I was ready! So as I pulled over to the side of the road, I smiled smugly to myself as the grim-faced cop came sauntering up to me, whereupon he started predictably yammering about giving me a ticket for speeding. Coolly, and with a sneer on my face, I told him that it wasn't my fault! I explained that, yes, I had my feet on the peddles, but the bike went fast all by itself! In fact, the more I pushed on the peddles, the faster the bicycle went! It's obviously one of the mysteries of the universe! It didn't work. He knew I was an idiot. |
