Not flattering at all. I even got teased going down the finish chute once. Something along the lines of eating, or looking like a french fry with all the salt on my tri suit. That was the last time I wore by black onsey... And as "skinny" I seem to think I look in the mirror, the pictures indicate otherwise. Call me pillsberry doughboy. |

I need something to change/spice things up. Suggestions? Maybe just a vacation. In a rutt, some people say. Vacations are nice but are only take you away from your space for a short time. You need to shake it up from where you are now. Hmmm. New hobbies? Old ones that fell away and you can get back into? I found my "rut" sort of faded when I changed my outlook on what I already had and had going on. Not really doing anything different but appreciating and enjoying what I have been doing much more. I know vacations are a temporary fix. BUT, it's nice to just break things up. So far, we have "planned" lots of getaway weekends this summer, to have all of them trumped by something that comes up for her work. So she still get's to "travel" (but she says it's work and that doesn't count), but I just do the same thing, day in, day out. I changed plans again for AZ, and I want to start mixing up workouts (trail runs and MTB) to mix it up. I also feel like it could be getting cooler, which ALWAYS makes me feel better. I think this happens every Sept. My brain finally has had enough time in the broiler and starts to short circuit. |

There's one of mine racing to cross the finish line in a sprint or Oly and they caught me with both feet in the air. I look FAST! I sort of like that one. It's misleading, in a good way. |

I think this happens every Sept. My brain finally has had enough time in the broiler and starts to short circuit. That blows about the vacations. But what about hobbies or interests that are NOT training or fitness related? I started taking photos again .. and redecorating my house .. now that it's getting cooler (like 98 degrees) I can resume my hiking and photographing ventures that I really enjoy. Those center me and help me feel less restless. Otherwise I was thinking of running off running away with the circus .. but alas, I have no talent. I thought about getting into painting. I always wanted to do that. But any hobby start up is going to be costly. Something else creative or artistic. I like taking pictures, but I don't know enough. I was up before the sun to go riding and saw the sunrise on the mountains here that turned them purple and red. A great photo op, but I like to sleep in too much to get the shot! So far, I'm just painting on my Ipad. It's sort of fun, but seems a little less hands on than other artforms. Oh, and when it gets cooler, Golf clubs are coming out. |

I get a call asking me to come in. The attorney asks why I think I was asked to come in. I say "I dunno....what's up" He says "Grab your stuff...*pause*...we're going to lunch" All I could think of between the "I dunno" and the "what's up" was TAN.... |

Look at the time lapsed from his last post. Mr. Triple X tried to revive it with a "cover story" for him leaving work early to go to the gentlemen's club. It was skank-shift.....the good ones aren't there at 1:30 on a Wednesday. We left and ate some burgers. |
