Hey! Do you all mind if I start padding my post count with you all? I know I'm late in the game with this thread, but better late than never!

Hey spokes - why worry about a name? Who really cares? If you need the comfort of some sort of identification, how about a cyclist AND a runner. A runclist, or something.

Morning everybody.

So I was laying in bed last night and my dog was up there with me. I was still petting him and his ears kept on moving a little bit. Has anyone else ever wondered what exactly the neutral position for pointy dog ears is. I mean, he often has them pointing almost straight up but also down to the side and any point in between. I just wonder where they sit if there aren't any muscles working on them.

Late night/ early morning thought.

Do they move when the dog is asleep?  I would think that would be about as neutral as you're going to get.  Other than that it's like answering what is infinity?

I dunno, but I'm going out to break in a new pair of running shoes. Shouldn't YOU be running?

I ran yesterday.  Does that count?

The taco ride was hysterical!!!!  The guys dressed up in gorilla costumes and I wore a blonde wig - it was sooooo fun!  On the way up when there were bikers coming back, I rode ahead (setting pace as has become the norm - lol) anyway, back to the story

Soooo, I rode head and instead of shouting out bike up!  I shouted out "GORRILLAS UP"  OMG - you should have heard people's laughter and reaction it was a great time.

Yeah, so, we ran into the 'vertical' club at margaritaville - vertical is their nickname because they chug/shotgun everything - last night they had some rum punch - ooooh boy, it had a punch!

The lady at the steakhouse (that serves tacos on thursday night), who loves us, cuz I went out of my way to make her feel special - LOL (yes, even the guys will admit it's a good thing I did that) recommended their special taco - hard and soft shell combined - it was yummy - well ok, still not a 'real' taco, but yummier than the standard mediocre taco they serve.

The recommendation stemmed from the debate we were having over what kind of taco baskets to order - hard or soft, we always order both cuz i like soft shell and they supposedly like hard shell, well, as you might guess - every week, they eat the soft shell also soooo, i was trying to convice them that we should order more soft than hard

It was officially my last taco ride of the year :-(

Sooo much fun - probably, no, not probably - too much to drink - whew - oh, did i mention the 23 yr old that was totally trying to pick me up - LOL - talk about an ego boost!

Well, back to serious training - don't know if I'll do the ride until after the HyVee tri, I really want to do well, and this custom, while incredibly fun - is so, not a training ride

Waiting on the pics - hopefully I will get them today - of course I forgot my camera and am having to rely on one of the guy to send me some
