Anyway, my point was to say hi and that I am scheduled for a swim and run today but since I ran last night I will be riding tonight. Let's all pray that the dang rain stops sometime today so I can actually do both! It's been raining for 3 days ~ PLEASE make it stop!!

Here's an encouraging thought for you Michelle. A few years ago, I think it was 2007, it rained for 40 days straight. Yup, 40 days. I was thinking of building an ark! That was a long rainy season.

I am catholic and went to catholic school for 10 years! shhhhh dont tell my parents who paid alllllllll that money to send me, or him above...oh hope he isnt reading this!!!??

No catholic school for this chickie! I did two years of Bible study these past two years. Took this one off. Now mind you, I still feel like I don't know anything about the bible. LOL

I went to Catholic School for high school.  I feel like I learned a fair bit about the bible.  That's what we studied all year Sophomore year in theology class. 

Mine did NOT come today! mail came and NO SHOES! so, I am lacing up my old shoes and going for a painful run! just knew I would be sporting my new shoes for todays run....

What shoes do you wear now? zoot?

No new shoes for me. 

I am debating about ordering those.  Killer deal!

Back from Girl Scouts.  Didn't get my run on.   Too icy.  So, it will be either the treadmill or trainer for me.  I am leaning towards the trainer since I really don't want to leave the house to go to the gym. 

I did get 20 boxes of Girl Scout cookies.  I promptly opened a box of Samoas and ate them.  All.  I did share a few though.

I went until 8th grade then my mom gave me the choice to switch over to public and since most of my friends were in public school, I made the switch.  BIG MISTAKE on my moms part!  Let's just say I had a little rebel in me just dying to get out!

Samoas are the BEST ~ especially frozen!!!  Let's just say you ate a few for me since I am doing the no sugar challenge and can't have any.

Speaking of trainer ~ how's your gorgeous boyfriend?

Ahhh, my boyfriend....I have spent many hours riding him.  The more I ride him, the more I like him.  I still need to back to the LBS though.  My seat height isn't right and I can't get it right.  So, that is on tap for either this week or next.  I am liking the size so I might keep it.  I plan to get it off the trainer this weekend. 

How are you liking your bike????

I normally run in Saucony's.  I bought a pair of the Zoots to wear for tris and dus.  They'll be much easier to get on and off and I'm looking forward to being able to run without socks.  They are super comfy for that (I hear). 

It's worth it!  I got a chance to try them on at the NYC tri expo.  They are very comfortable.  The lacing is nice and quick.  Plus, they're really light, so they'll be perfect for races.  

I overpronate, so I got the Tempo+.  They do have some stability.  Not sure that I'd wear them for much more than a 10k though. 

Mine too!  We were right next to the convent.  Our mascot was a penguin.  I'm kind of surprised the nuns let us get away with that. 

2 mile run and 30 min trainer. Gosh my legs are saying what the h--l were you thinking after my weights (first time I really gave it effort in a long time) yesterday and a workout tape with squats yesterday.

I am all Peachy.

Oh my gosh, I just drooled on my keyboard.  The evil Girl Scouts already forced Thin Mints on me.  I may just have to stop at the grocery for some Chocolate Cappucino ice cream. 

Or just taken out of the fridge!  YUMMMMMMMMM MEEEEE!!

well that rebel came out of me at the catholic school! haha! but probably more when I finished my last two years in public! way too easy subjects and  at the public school there were BOYS! the  scenery or should I say lack of scenery at the all girl school was just boring! +++ I got tired of all the cat fights!
