NRG42 - 2012-08-08 1:28 PM Who got bit by a dog?
I did in 1977.

My legs were mauled by a dog in 1976.  I still have teeth puncture scars and a piece of shin bone missing to remind me!

but they look so good

Not up close ...

prove it

There ya go ...  now don't go and make that your wallpaper on your work computer!!  Get all your coworkers excited and such!

And yes .. I knew the dog.  It was my cousins doberman.

Dobies and weiner dogs are two breeds which are Owner loyal. They have a wolfpack of 1 and that's it.

I like my weiners to be loyal!

I think most women do.

It's that "forsaking all others" clause. The priest puts that one in there and you're all "I do" and before you know it: BAM! Party time is over.

Maybe two weeks, if I can swing it. I have a big conference that I am presenting at, but then I'm totally going to goof off with my mates, eat entirely too many biscuits, drink buckets of proper tea, go hiking, and generally feel like a human being again for the first time in two years.

Oh, and reports of a woman chained to a tree in Kelvingrove park will be disregarded as greatly exaggerated

Oooh: Sorry to hear that. I had only a decent puncture and we found the dog''s owner, but needed to get the police to have them talk to us. Nothing but a childhood hassle more than anything. German pointer was the breed; still don't like them.

I know how you feel, I have been bitten by several women over the years and now they all make me nervous.

My mom and dad have a German Shepherd...  Beautiful dog and they say it wouldn't hurt a fly and never has.   But something about a German Shepherd and the way they look at you (sort of cut eyes) and sort of freeze and look at you like they are waiting for you to make the wrong move...

I like it. White tape never seems to stay very white anyway. For some, a white seat may be questionable as well

Yeah thats what I was thinking. The seat is OK but the tape is basically gray...

Stereotype. Mostly false. Well-socialized Dobermanns and dachshunds (or WIENERS, I before E) will be like other appropriately raised dogs.

The bar tape is awesome but yes, it'd look ... crowded, I guess (and not easily ID'd from afar). So yeah, I'd go with red bar tape. Especially since that's what I have and, well, my bike is just the tops
