Quiet so far. I should probably be worried.

Have my running group on Sat morning.  Game night on Sat.  Then Sunday head up to NC to visit my sister and Dad and deliver some more homemade soup for my dad.  Head back home on Monday.  Hoping to meet up with friends for dinner on Monday night.

What about you?

It's another basketball weekend for us. Caleb has practice for the school team tomorrow morning from 8 to 10. Keri has a basketball game almost an hour and a half away tomorrow afternoon. Caleb has a basketball game with the club team tomorrow evening. I had to ask the MIL to take Caleb to his game in the evening, it is a home game, we should be back from Keri's game to see Caleb, if games aren't running late, but we won't be home in time to get him there before the game like his coach wants.

On Sunday both kiddos have home games, Caleb at 2:00, Keri at 5:00, so it is a day in the gym watching games.

Good Morning Ghoulies.  I was so busy and tired the last couple of days that I fell off of the Ab challenge.  But I will get back on it today.

Neither DH nor I have Monday off, so it is just  a normal weekend for us.  No real plans, but lots of projects to work on.

One project is trying to figure out what to do with this computer.  Larry likes it but I like the older one better, maybe just because I am used to it.  If we keep this one connected to the internet, then I need to transfer so files to it from the other computer.  And my pictures.  I need to back them up on something anyway.

Whatever you do, do not call a place like the Geek Squad. You would be better off finding a local high school kid and giving him a few bucks to help you out. You will get better service, and save yourself a ton of $.

I keep forgetting to ask Donnie about the software. I've only seen him in passing the past few days. I'll send him a text.

DH still has some set holidays, Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year, July 4th, Memorial and Labor Day.  But other holidays like MLK, Presidents, etc have been changed to "personal" holidays, so he has 5 days that he can take any time he wants (like birthday or just wants a long weekend)  in addition to his vacation days.  It is a nice set-up.  Of course, being self-employed, any holiday that I take is unpaid.  My boss is such a scrooge!

In the AB Challenge thread, she said she was going on vacation with no internet for a week.

Good morning Ghoulies!

After another jammed packed crazy weekend, I took the day off today. I just could not shut down the brain and go to sleep last night. I was still wide awake at 3:00 this morning. I didn't fall asleep until probably close to 4:00. I woke up when the husband was getting ready for work. I am sure there will be naps today.

Next Saturday is my birthday. Originally neither kid had anything scheduled, which was AWESOME! We had plans, we were going to do fun stuff, there would be cake! Then one of Caleb's school basketball games was rescheduled for Saturday after being snowed out twice. The game is about an hour away at 11:30 in the morning. No problem. We were going to go to the game, then go to  a kayak shop about half an hour away, they were going to buy me some gear, then we were going to find some ma & pa place to eat on the way home. Then someone told us there was a softball clinic at Gettysburg College from 9-3 that day. In the most sad voice, with a disappointed face Keri told me she didn't have to go to the clinic because it was my birthday. I told her that I love watching her play softball and she could go to the clinic. Donnie signed her up, which may have been a gift because usually I pay for the camps and clinics and such.

We had it planned that we'd bring Caleb home from the bb game, so he didn't have to ride the bus. We'd all go to the college, after the clinic we'd come home, kiddos would shower, Donnie would run and pick up pizza, and we'd spend the rest of the evening having a Doctor Who marathon, since Keri just started getting into the show. Then Saturday night, while at Caleb's club bb game we found out they have a game rescheduled for Saturday at 5:00.

So now it's basketball in the morning. I'll bring Donnie and Caleb home and I'll go into the college for Keri. We'll come home, go to basketball, then the kids and I will watch 2 possibly 3 episodes of Doctor Who. We were going to watch some with the 9th doctor so Keri could know more of the back story.

It looks like we are going to be snowed in tomorrow, so maybe we can watch a few episodes then.

The good news is that even with all the craziness on Saturday, there will still be cake.

You're right. I believe she said something here, too. I forgot. Too much information going around for my tiny brain to process. Thanks, Dee!

I'm here!

It was a great cruise. Well, the cruise itself was so-so and the ports were so- so but the friends we went with and the fun factor were GREAT! I gained 3 pounds, I would assume that is (ahem) water weight since the food was so-so as well. A pretty good salad bar, though. I did get to the on-board gym twice. I totally abandoned the ab work. No where in our cabin and, believe it or not, no where in the gym and I am not going to do that on the deck anywhere. I walked my poor foot into the ground. Tomorrow I'll get back to it. I have a ton of laundry to do today.

Don’t forget this is an incredibly big year for sport with the Olympics back in Athens where the modern Olympics started, and especially triathlon to make its second appearance.
