Good afternoon, Nibbs!

I had a massage today. Very nice. Turns out I am a tight a$$, the therapist said my glutes were very tight and that is causing some of my hip issues. I am glad it isn't my flexors again. I didn't think it was because I experience pain when I lift my leg, not while pushing off, which is what I felt with the pulled flexor. Scheduled another massage for next week. Will do whatever possible until Mooseman to keep things loose.

Didn't ride my bike. Have to call my coach and restructure my workouts for this week anyhow. Oh well. That's life. Still planning on getting 100 miles in this week Gotta get ready for swim team and stroke and turn clinic. TTYL. Have a great afternoon!

Have you tried working things out on a roller????  I haven't done it myself, but tried out Amy's last week at her house... like you I have issues w/ my IT and glute (funny it's my left bottom half and right top half - you'd swear I must walk crooked or something)...  ANYHOW, that roller TOTALLY was able to nail some of it.
You might want to invest in one (my MT has been after me for a while to get one)
If you have more questions ask Amy, she swears by hers (and swears at it, ouch!!)

Massages rawk.

The one I got... the therapist said I have 'impressive calves.' WTH that means.

It means you don't have "stick legs." Be happy.

Hi Nibbs - drive-by posting! I'm at work still....

Everybody is driving by!

I got a lot done today - cleaning up and de-cluttering, both for the graduation party and for the 'preparing the house' to go on the market

it was sort of sad/nostalgic - I kept running across little memories

good thing I saved my workout for later in the day -

Evening, Nibbs...

I'm with you, Beth - well, on a smaller scale...we have moved every 2 years for the last 6 years - we aren't moving this year, but Sugar Daddy (task master ) has decided that I should do the normal "purge" we do when moving. So today I spent the entire day in the kitchen tossing out massive quantities of STUFF. Including all sorts of kid-things that I'd love to save, but there are only so many handprint things you can hang onto...

I did a lot of purging when we moved last month.  It had been about 4 years since we moved and the last time we didn't get a chance to go through everything.  I'm still going through stuff as I unpack now.  There's a lot of stuff I have that I don't need.  Sentimental things are hard to get rid of.

I can think of so many things Ive thrown out with all my moves in the last few years that I wish I kept... and a lot of things that I never seem to get around to dealing with that I probably shouldnt have lugged through 3-4 moves before throwing out...

This isn't quite it, but it's pretty close. A little less white/more brown, but the same basic idea.

Oh, you meant pictures of me in it? Hee hee hee.

It is cute, I don't have the nerve to wear one.  I'll do a tankini if I find one that makes me happy...had a few from Land's End that the gym pool ruined and don't like the new styles they have out now.  Now I wear the cholrine resistant stuff from the online swimwear outlet at the gym.  It isn't cute, but it has lasted through the chlorine levels at the gym.

I wasn't going to swim in it...so no worries on the chlorine. (I wear the polyester, impenetrable to chlorine and stretching, etc. ones to swim...)

We have a few beach vacations this summer where I hope to wear it while lounging...I don't know if I have the nerve either, but I bought it. I told myself (and Sugar Daddy) I would if I was less-than-Athena this summer.

Ha!  I don't even have the nerve to wear it laying in my back yard!  Yeah, my inner fat girl just won't let me...plus I fuss at my kids about the skin showing sometimes so I can't do it and then say no to them about a bikini...

It's a TYR suit - they also have it in a one piece.  I have a 40% off coupon if you need it.

It wouldn't be nearly as sassy in a one-piece.

I like it!
