Master 1688 ALSAGER, CHESHIRE. UK | Subject: RE: Peep Jousters: The Original Peep Warriors Up & out early this morning. Two hills. Did a T/T straight from home to top of first hill. Not quite as good as I thought I was but matched time from last November exactly ~ 31m 10s. Just under 35miles in 2h 19. Little Moreton Hall ,only about 3 miles away ~ earliest part built around 1450. To put it in some sort of perspective I believe Columbus 'discovered' America in 1492. Stood up well hasn't it. The upper floors are really wonky to walk on though.
There is a moat that goes all the way round with big fish swimming in it.
The Knot Garden at the back.
Well that should be me done for the riding challenge this month, unless Cat comes back to me with a special dispensation ~ watch this space. Hope you have enjoyed the pics.

Pro 4343 Olney, MD | Subject: RE: Peep Jousters: The Original Peep Warriors I visited England back in 2003. Did the Tower of London tour, etc. I was blow away by the age of the buildings. They were built at a time before North America even had a written language! "Old" here is anything over 100 years (some might even say 50!) |

Pro 4343 Olney, MD | Subject: RE: Peep Jousters: The Original Peep Warriors Later today I'll be heading out for a brick: 18mi bike/3.1mi run. That will put me over my goal. That should be it for me for the month with biking, unless we get the OK to count beyond 100% towards the team goal. My son is off doing his driver's license test! Try to stay away from Olney, MD if you can |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Peep Jousters: The Original Peep Warriors Don't forget the March Challenge Penalties! 1) If your team looses the Peep Wars then you will be required to change your avatar to a Peep/Marshmallow for the month of April. 2) If you fail to meet your personal goal in the Peep Wars, you must add a signature line that declares " I am a marshmallow and need to harden/toughen up!" for the month of April. |

Master 2235 Pacific Northwest | Subject: RE: Peep Jousters: The Original Peep Warriors Good morning team....I will definitely be on the trainer to finish up my miles today....we have soooo much snow! We were up at Mt. Rainier yesterday and it snowed there all day, but just a few miles lower from where we were there was no snow. Then we drove east to get back home and once we got onto the plateau where we live, it was dumping snow and today it is a winter (spring?) wonderland. Hopefully it melts soon. I was going to do a 5-mile trail run with nwtrailruns but I am wondering if they are going to cancel, as it is up here on the plateau and I don't think it is safe to run in the snow when you can't see the sticks and stones and all that. Anyway....I am rambling. I will post a pic of the snow in a while. Oh yes, and get on the trainer!! |
