Subject: RE: Nibbs XXXVIMorning, Nibbs!
I need a round of "What Would Nibbs Do..."
So my marathon training plan calls for the following schedule:
Monday: Long run (drop back week ) - 7 miles
Tuesday: Cross
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: 3 miles
Friday: 6 miles
Saturday: 3 miles
Sunday: Rest
Monday: Long run - 12 miles
I did the 7 miles yesterday (and will do the 12 next Monday ), but I'm having trouble cramming in the other runs. On Thursday, I'm not supposed to exercise before my metabolic testing 'cause it will screw up the results...and my test is late in the day. On Friday, I'm at a conference for most of the day out of town - I might be able to squeeze in something here. On Saturday and Sunday, I'm out of town with my family...playing at a hotel - I can probably do a little run, but I dont' want to take an hour away from them.
So my question: Which of the mid-week (Tuesday-Sunday ) workouts is most important? (I know the long run is THE important workout, which is why I moved my whole schedule to Monday ).
WWND?
