Very funny guys! No line break on my computer there though........hmmmmmmmm. Did you put your clothes back on yet? |

Then tomorrow is an off day! I could use it. My legs are sore from running/painting. And today I am painting one wall in my room. Chocolate cupcake is the color. Yum! Chocolate cupcakes??????????????????? Better not invite me over. I'd probably try to eat the walls. |

Funny! I may be immature, but I am not male..... |

Although I am sick of the hot humid temps hear, I am not sure I would trade... Well maybe somedays... Ah Teaneck. I grew up in Clifton. Used to play Teaneck in HS sports. I dont' think there's anything in the world that would make me want to move to somewhere hot and humid. The week or two of it we get in NJ is way too much for me. I love the change of seasons here. I used to live on the *other* side of the GWB. |

I'm using it as an excuse to go shopping for some more cold weather running gear. I've got 4.5miles on the schedule for today. But first - laundry, vacuuming, and the grocery. Woo Hoo - talk about life in the fast lane. Oh wow. Thanks for reminding me. I've got to go do laundry! |

The coldest I've ran in shorts and a long sleeve tech shirt was 50 and that was comfortable. Probably 40 is about the cut off point for me. Although if it's a race, it'd be much lower. Amazing what gloves and a hat can do.
x2. 40's and I need some tights. 50s might be iffy if it is windy. For me, it needs to be below 40. I can still run in shorts and long-sleeved shirts in the 40s. |

If it wasn't for my job... I'm not sure I would stay where I am now. All my family is still in Northern Jersey and NYC, I'll be up for a couple of weeks in December so I'll get my fix of the cold weather. Hopefully no snow so I can keep up with my training plan. It's taken 10 years and I am better with the humidity but I still have Yankee blood in my veins! I feel the same way. I grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Virginia 5 years ago. I'm better at humidity, but I still don't really like it. On the other hand, I'm not so great at dealing with the cold any more when I go visit my parents for Christmas. I do miss the Midwest and would love to go back. |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: E.V.I.L. Running Reapers - Halloween Run Challenge Hope everyone has a great weekend! Any exciting plans? I think I'm going to try to go to the Farmer's Market tomorrow. I wanted to go last weekend, but it didn't happen. Since my husband is moving his long run to Sunday, I think we will go tomorrow. Other than that, I'm hanging out and knitting. More of what I've been doing for the past week and a half. I should go back to work on Monday. |

Lucky me, seems like this non-stop rain actually stopped during the night, but will be starting up again for my run. With some nice blobs of yellow on the radar screen. oh well... |

First I have to wake the 16 yo up and get her to the barn. Wish me luck. Rousing that girl on the weekend is like waking a sleeping bear- need to watch for the claws..... |

Master 2146 East Side of the Bay | Subject: RE: E.V.I.L. Running Reapers - Halloween Run Challenge Yeah I didn't get rained on!! Very windy at times though. My run route is almost entirely along a river (I cross over it twice) so it was blustery. Tried to finish mostly with the wind. I couldn't remember the route I had planned so ended up doing an even 7. Felt good the whole time. No ITB issues. Woo Hoo! |

Expert 1023 , | Subject: RE: E.V.I.L. Running Reapers - Halloween Run Challenge Hello team! Boy oh boy, it is much easier to keep up with my running than to keep up with this thread This is a recovery week for me so I only had 5 miles planned for today, but there was no rain this morning, and it's supposed to rain tomorrow, so I switched up my bike and run for the weekend. I will run tomorrow and I will be right on schedule for the month, so please don't tase me! I like running in the cold, so I stick with shorts and a t-shirt into the 40's, but once it goes into the 30's I wear long running pants and a long sleeve shirt. I do NOT wear running tights in public! I'll wear tights on the bike, but I'm a little too shy to wear them around the neighborhood when I'm running. I do like to wear tights under some heavier jogging pants when it gets down to the single digits. Keep up the good work everyone, and have a good weekend!! |

Master 1989 New Jersey | Subject: RE: E.V.I.L. Running Reapers - Halloween Run Challenge Bleagh!!! That's how my run was today. Started off with no rain, but got drenched starting about 45 minutes into the run. Very cold too. Miserable. And the run itself sucked too. Ended up with 20, but it took me forever. The second half was a walk-fest. I have a serious decision now as to whether I go for NYC or defer it to next year. But I'm done with NYC. This is my 5th time doing it and I have yet to get to the starting line decently trained. It's always kicked my butt. There's always something unrelated to running that's interfered. But knowing me, I'm sure I'll run it and just hope for the best. And why did it stop raining once I stopped running????? What happened to the forecasted solid 4 days of rain? |

Running around the neighborhood in tights? Yeah, I just can't see myself doing this.... It's getting colder here though. So I'm going to need something warmer than shorts. Last year, I just switched to the treadmill when it got cold. But believe it or not, I'm actually liking running outside this year. Tights? Um............ Eh. Not so much. |
