Oh, one positive note on the Up. It is my goal every day to log more steps than Robin.

Funny, I have a similar goal

Now I am ticked!. I just walked a mile on my treaddesk and got the "idle for 15 minutes" alarm. I synced it up... it recorded .33 miles since I got up. Evidently, if your arm isn't moving or something, it doesn't record it. I have a shoe sensor already, this needs to be more than just a sleep monitor for 135 bucks.

This may be a deal changer.

I think the arm motion is exactly it! It didn't record all my steps on my hike. I had to have walked more than the steps it gave it, I hiked 4 miles, but it only gave me like 5,000 steps. With the trekking poles going up and down the hill though I would swing my arm once for every 2 steps. Not so accurate. It is frustrating. I think these kind of devices have potential, but they need work.

i can handle some level of inaccuracy. But not total missing out of the activity. I can a timer to buzz eery 15 minutes to remind me to move for about 2 dollars.  I was hoping this would do that. For 135 bucks, I am not so pleased. I will check what it does today and see if I am going to keep it. So far I have walked on the TMdesk for 54 minutes and 1.26 miles (not including steps around the house). The UP has shown 8 minutes moving time and 800 and change steps. Not good.

OH YEAH! If you're at the treadmill desk I bet it isn't going to pick that up! It would almost be better if these things were thinner so you could wear them on your ankles, they'd be more accurate with the steps.

Good Morning Ghoulies!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!

We went out to lunch.  Then my stepdaughter and granddaughter brought me some pretty tulips.

Mother's Day in my family was dangerous... for everyone for me. My sister smashed her hand, and tore it up. Keri fell on a rug down at grandma's. Donnie and Caleb were outside playing basketball, when they both went up for a rebound. They came down and Caleb hit Donnie in the nose breaking his glasses and putting a gash in his nose. Later in the evening they went out to finish the game and Milo was playing defense. Caleb went up for the ball, and Milo took his feet out from underneath him (clearly a foul). Caleb bruised his bum, and ripped his elbow up pretty good. Oy Vey!

Glad that you escaped the mayhem!
