So does Matchman sing at all the BT gatherings?  Maybe he is singing with Autumn right now!

If they're running, I doubt he's singing.

Maybe running cadences, though.....God, I used to hate those group runs....

We sang a little when we went through a tunnel. Little Fiona (age 3 1/2) requires it.

FishrCutB8 - 2007-05-03 10:08 AM Scout...what kind of reading do you like?

Varies, to be honest.  I've read alot of historical works, mostly military or political, though.

I typically stick to history/political/current event stuff too.  Have you read Confessions of an Economic Hit Man?

See those kids sittin' by that tree?  They make a really good TRP!

Up jumped a monkey from the coconut grove.  He was a bad mamma jamma you could tell by his clothes.

Of course it was my face.  And yes those are my toes.  Just experimenting with body parts.    Thinking I'll run through a few and then take a vote.  Can I count on your vote?

Tom, I just finished Kite Runner. What an excellent book. My friend Matt said its the first book he has cried real tears from.

I can't help but think that for that one story there must be a million more playing out just like it right now...

I know what book I wanna read, actually.  I think I'm going to try to track down "Bowerman And The Men of Oregon".  I've heard it was good.  I already read "Running With The Buffaloes".  Excellent book on the Univ. of Colorado XC team.  Mark Wetmore is a helluva coach.

Other than that, if I can ever find a copy for less than $70, I'd like to get "Once A Runner".

Oy, I know! I was on the beach in Mexico and found myself nearly sobbing thinking about my best friend. His dad's currently suffering metastatic bladder cancer (in his bones, brain, on his spine, etc.) and things are not good at all. It may be within the next couple of months that his body gives up. Just thinking about that while reading Kite Runner made me so sad. Sitting on the beach with a pina colada in hand while crying over this book couldn't possibly have been more incongruous.
