Expert 819   Phoenix, AZ | Subject: RE: ESCKTC Bike Ride Sunday I am really sorry  to say that I have to cancel for tomorrow. I went out riding today and had some bike issues. Now my bike's in the shop getting a much needed tune up, as well as a new tire and tube. (see my log for the story). I was really looking forward to meeting some of you guys and joining the ride, very frustrating not to be able to come tomorrow as the bike shop won't be able to get to it til Monday. I AM going to be there next week, promise! |

Last year during IM training Harry ran out of tubes and starting calling everyone in the club to see if anyone could come get him. Yeah...I was the lucky one that was home. Haha!!! Bummer you won't be out!! BUT....fyi.....next weekend's bike ride is a little race called Mountain Man up in Flagstaff. You should totally come up on Saturday for the potluck!! It would be a great way to meet a BUNCH of people!!! (See the potluck thread). |

We can't ALWAYS conveniently meet next your house EVERY Sunday!! Be there or be square: Since it is going to be a real ride, and not just just my own little figure eight......Let's meet up at the normal spot for this route.....Crackers and Co on the NE corner of Brown and Greenfield. We can start with the early birds at 6:30 for loop 1, and 8am for loop 2 peeps. Try to be ready to ride at these times. (So this means arrive BEFORE this and get all your crap ready). Not to sound like a broken record here but I do tend to average 16ish mph. I can ride faster on some parts but try as hard as I might I can never get my average up. I am totally cool with starting out together and then splitting up as to not hold anyone back. So if that doesn't sound like a rockstar fun time then I don't know what does. Let me know if you are in. |
