(No, really, I mean it ... I'm really excited for me, but I hate to brag.) I have been wearing size 12/14 clothes since I lost my first 40 pounds between 2/06 and 10/06...apparently, I am now a size 6/8. I'm totally jazzed, but now I get why none of my clothes look good on me. I think Sugar Daddy is going to take a blow torch to my closet - I can't bear to part with my 12/14 clothes because I was so excited to get into those last year.

Yes.  I wanted to give people until tomorrow to vote because I know some people aren't around as much as we are.  Runs with Scissors is winning by a lot, though.

Feeling better than yesterday.  I'm less congested but I'm losing my voice.  I sound worse, but I'm feeling a lot better.

I think that might indeed the understatement of the month.

Kristen, That is awesome.  Take that closet of stuff that's too big to the nearest Salvation Army drop box or battered women's shelter!  It's wonderful being in single digit sizes after years of higher double digit ones.  Only thing I'm throwing is confetti cause you totally deserve a party for getting there!

Um..... What's different about an "earplane" than a regular ear plug? (Does it have some kind of hole in it?)

You wouldn't want to wear a regular ear plus, as this would create yet another closed air space that can't equalize....

As the plane goes up, the surrounding pressure decreases. If your ears are stuffed up, the pressure inside your ear becomes greater than the surrounding pressure, causing your ear drum to push outwards. This may push out any blockage in your eustachian tube, as well. This may also cause your nose/sinuses to run.

As the plane descends, the pressure increases. If your ears are stuffed up, this causes the pressure in your ear to be less than the surrounding pressure. The result is that your ear drum bows inward, causing pain. It causes sinus pain, as well.
