tlnewman30 - 2008-09-11 8:53 PM Alright, another 3.08 down.  That makes 33 for the month so far with the 18 miler on Sunday.

Sorry for telling lies, it is 37 not 33 for the month so far.  Of course that is a better number to have.

Hi, Stumpies!

It's your lazy, slacking team captain here! Please make sure your logs are up-to-date through Saturday by Sunday noontime. I will be going through and collecting numbers then to send to Shawn.

And yeah, my numbers stink, but I've been in a recovery week and I pick up on my 1/2 mary training plan starting this weekend, so my numbers will be better - promise!

Now go run already!

Thanks Kristen!

I am looking forward to it.  I just hope this cold doesn't hamper me too much.

My swims and runs haven't suffered too much, so I don't think it will be too much.

Showoff. :-P Have a good run!!

Ran 10 miles this morning. Now I have Keane's "Crystal Ball" stuck in my head. Good song (yes, I run with an iPod, so shoot me).

Oooh, crystal ball, crystal ball, save us all, tell me life is beautiful....

I got 17.39 miles in this morning, which brings me to just over half of my intended goal for the month.  Now to just keep it going.

alright... so I know this has little to do with this particular challenge, but on Sat. at the end of a really challenging (for me) tri, I posted my best 10k time ever... really... 1:07:32... I went under 11 min/mile and it was really hilly too...

In fact, I would count this as my best tri performance to date... an OLY under 3:30 AND won my AG... ok, I was the only one in my AG... but I don't care... I am thrilled.

 Keep stumping, people!

WHOO WHOO! Congratulations, Brian! I think a PR 10K is totally relevant to this challenge, and to get the AG award too rocks!!!

I am off to go run 3.17 miles which will be in addition to the 1 mile I did at work in utilities and boots for PT.  Which will be 4.17 for the day and somewhere around 58.5 for the month.  Holy smokes, only 41.5 left to do.  I guess it is achievable.
