Subject: RE: Ironman Wisconsin : Official Threadtriguy22 - 2009-01-13 10:56 AM Is anyone else having trouble staying motivated this winter?? I go a few days feeling great and excited about the up coming season and then bam....I struggle to get out the door. I think this winter getting to me. Summer I need you back. And I need some advice on if I should to the horrible hilly or take that time to go and ride the IMoo course. What would be more beniffical to me? The hills during HHH are harder than the hills you hit on the IM course. If you don't like hills, HHH has mental benefits, as the IM course will be easier than HHH. If you don't need hill training or the mental edge from conquering HHH, you'd be better served by riding the IM course. Start in Verona ( Fireman's Park ) and you can ride one or two loops, or even 3 if you feel up to it. Knowledge of the course can help you spend effort more wisely on race day. Me, I plan to do the 200k route at HHH, and get up for a couple weekends of riding the course. But that's just me.
