Sprint_DA - 2009-01-13 8:03 AM WTF- newb comes in and steals last post in the old TAN?  Wow.

Just like the guy who buys ONE lotto ticket and wins the millions compared to people who buy 1000 and come up empty...

An equatable analogy, me thinks.

That actually does sound good to me.

Relearned something.  I'm not sure why I keep forgetting it...

Eat well, and feel much better the next day.  Eat like crap?  Well not so good.

(I ate well and feeling good, BTW)

Why is no one willing to make a decision anymore?

I need to drive out to a project, to tell a contractor to lower a waterline a couple inches to get past a conflict.

The contractor won't just do it or take direction over the phone.  The City inspector says it's ok to do that, but can't TELL them to do it, and it has to come from the engineer (me), but it has to be in person.  So 30 min drive to look in a hole, and say lower it, then 30 min back.

Back in the day, people just made things work.  to much litigation, me thinks.

I think most of us are guilty of this at some point. I forget how Wendy's is actually bad for me, and my craving overcomes my common sense. So I go and get a burger and fries and then I feel like crap, and I know exactly why. That stupid Hamburger thread is REALLY making me want a hamburger. Arrggg....

I hope to keep it up.  I had a veggy dinner last night.  Salad and other veggies instead of some frozen meal or some other junk.  I feel better today.  I also drank TONS of water yesterday and today so far.  Something I keep neglecting, expecially in the winter when it's not as hot.

Oh, yeah, I feel bad about it, but it also just makes me feel gross -  like, feeling kinda sick. That's never a good thing. Guilt is one thing. Physical sickness is another.

It feels good and tastes good when in the moment.  AND it gives a lot of energy for the next couple hours (for me).  But I feel a little "dodgy" the next day.  Not bad, but not at my peak - I've determined.

I had to redirect a Help Desk (whoops, Service Center) student "ticket" back so they can provide more detail.

It's so fun getting these "thing. broken. need fixed" kind of issues.

Time to waste my time driving around.  Sucks, cuz I could easily be wasting my time TANing instead.  How dare some other time waster interfere with the TAN time waster.
