Baowolf - 2009-02-07 6:06 PM Hi, can someone put the linc to post our numbers please.  I don't know how to get to the log in.

Easiest to go to docs.google.com.   Login is btchallenge and password challengeforum.

Then select the Team Edison spreadsheet.

I'm off to a solid start. I'm at 27% done.   Woo Hoo!  You guy keep it up!

I looked at the formula for percent done and it did not include strength in the average.  I added it to mine.

Great 'stick to the plan' day for me.   Plan was 1:15:00 run, I did 1:16:57 just to get a full 9 miles in.    Was raining all day in Vegas but finally stopped around 4pm.   Had a lot of runoff of water down the roads so was a challenge to stay semi dry.

Ok thanks I missed the part where you have to select documents once you get there. For the week I am at 31 miles run, 150 miles biked, 6500 yards swum so on target or better.

Well, I'm not exactly "sticking to the plan" more like th eplan is sticking IT to me...
THough even though today was a "rest" day, I had too many rest days earlier in the week.

Glad I got my swim in

Tomorrow should prove to be a good day on th emtn... it's been snowing up there since yesterday morning

Hey everyone....great job this week! I myself don't really have a "plan" I use to over plan and think about every minute and now I just go by feel. I'm sure once I sign up for a IM I will follow a plan but till then I just try to maintain run 4x bike 3x and swim 2-3x

The following rankings are based on what is in the spreadsheets as of Monday afternoon, and assumes everyone has updated the spreadsheet for the first week of February. If that's not the case, well, I guess it will even out next week. If anyone needs to change or modify goals, please let me know via PM. Keep up the good work, everyone!

Team Washington - 26.66%
Team Edison - 25.94%
Team Lincoln - 19.24%
Team Galileo - 18.96%

*sigh*  I am not sticking to the plan.  I blew off my long run yesterday.  I was so tired, I just couldn't run.  So, I will try to make up some of those lost miles tonight but I won't get them all.   Swimming tonight too, according to the plan!

Sorry about the late reply guys.  I did finally get my miles logged on the spreadsheet tonight.  The number of miles that were put in for my goal in running was 70.  My actual goal is 25 so I changed that.  Otherwise I am at 34% towards my goal.  Not too bad.  Only got in an 8.35 mile bike tonight.  Thinking that I maybe coming down with a cold.

Had to "alter" the plan due to a minor injury. I just checked the spreadsheet and I should be OK without altering my goals. I will just need to get on the trainer alot next week.

Well finished up my antibiotics today, so I guess that means I should be healthy soon.  I have noticed a little less junk in my lungs, but ya it takes the edge off the stamina.

This is my 3rd week of getting up at 5:30 am to get in a workout before work and running at noon.  My body is still adjusting to that shift as well.  I drag a bit during the day, but still have problems getting to sleep before 10:00 pm.  Burning around 10k calories a week I have finally lost my Christmas weight yay!  Another 5 pounds and I will have to start eating more.  I hope to land right around 135 (140 now) and try to stabalize there.  That should be right around 7-7.5 % body fat.

My swimspa ships today... still months away from first at home swim, but every little bit of encouragement that something, anything is moving forward helps.

Snow on and off this week will put a heavier load on evening indoor woorkouts 8(.

Today is an off day from training and I am so glad.  I have a really annoying cough and need it to go away.  It's tough sleeping so I am very tired.  Yoga tonight will be the extent of my workout today.  I am sticking with the plan, though.  My plan builds throughout the month, so I don't expect to be at exactly 25% each week.

We are doing great!  Yea team!

Trying to figure out which HIM to pull the  trigger on either the first ever Ironman 70.3 in Augusta on Sept 25th or the Ironman 70.3 in Austin on Oct. 2?

Its just one of those things where I need to just pull the  trigger and do it

Lunchtime swim in today.  Took a rest day yesterday so going to have to double up one day to catch up the week.   Missed bike commute today as it's gusting to 30mph winds and I wasn't up for that much of a challenge.

Today at lunch I got to practice running with intestinal distress.  It was 30 F with 15 mph wind, snowing and 3.5 miles out my gut started um having problems.  It was a very long way back to work.  I think I will be not doing my evening workout and probably skip tomorrow as well.  I have had the lung thing for about 3 weeks now so I hear ya on that one.  Sigh and the plan was going so well.
