Definitely have a cold. I don't think it's bacterial since it's been going on less than a week. My peak flow isn't too bad. If it gets worse, I will go in to the doctor. I don't mess around with asthma. I've seen too many people wind up in the hospital. |

Didn't think about putting on sunscreen before I left for my ride because it was pouring rain and I was wearing a jacket. 30mins in it cleared and I ditched the jacket, but didn't think anything about my uncovered shoulders. Not a bad burn by any means, just one of those friendly reminders to put on sunscreen. |

However, they knew it was going to be crazy hot at the beginning of the week and they didn't get more water. There were Gatorade jugs with water outside of transition and they were EMPTY at 2:00! Nothing to refill them. So people didn't have anything to drink while watching or before their race. I think they do bear some responsibility for things like that. Getting a few more tents so people could get out of the sun would have been nice, too. |

Getting a few more tents so people could get out of the sun would have been nice, too. truth. the race i did sat i intentionally chose the afternoon race, hoping for more heat by 1 pm! ha! irony! luckily they had TONS of water. it wasn't cold, but it was there. |

| Subject: RE: TAN 74... the day that TAN disapeared :D We ran at 8:30 yesterday morning with the tri club - most people were running 13 miles or longer. He had a group that didn't start until 10! We knew how hot it was going to be - I'm surprised that he didn't reschedule and start things earlier. We just run around the neighborhoods, so it's not like we need to start at any certain time because of permit issues, or anything. |
